Can I join in again please? I was with you for a while in 2012 but I drifted away but now really want to get going. I've got a big Ikea bag full of stuff to go to the Charity shop when I next head over that way so that's a good start.
Everyone is doing really well - I'm severely hindered by having a husband who hoards everything and goes into a cold sweat if I even go near his stuff so won't be easy!!! Wish me luckFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hello,
Can I join you too please?
I really want to de-junk my home, as it is getting me down and making life so stressful all the time!
Good luck to everyone in their de-cluttering missions!Single mum to 4 little monkeys

Don't make me sort the fruit bowl... don't make me do it...
I'm currently killing the cable spaghetti bag. If I don't know what it is and it isn't attached to something, it's going to the pink bin on my way to work tomorrow. Also found more fairy lights, a huge aquarium heater and an electric coin counting moneybox that's snapped round the edge - all which are also destined for silicon heaven tomorrow.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -

I need a good wake up kick up the bum to get motivated again... something like the estate agent ringing and saying someone wants to view the house! Haven't had anyone since the end of October so we're getting a bit disheartened and letting it go a bit... So..... watch this space!

I felt a bit flat too so havent been physically decluttering, but after shedding so much carp in 2012 I think it is perfectly acceptable to pause for a breath now and then. Have been busy organising myself which will enable more decluttering in the long term.
Even my lovely hubby wants to get on with outing stuff this year and he so wants to tackle this garage of ours, he is finally up and about but has hospital scan next week so fretting a bit and fingers crossed, once thats out of the way can make more of a plan.
Have managed to declutter several bits out of my family tree paperwork, have more to do there though.
Every little helps and everyone is doing amazingly well, :TSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Today I got rid of:
- a manicure set
- a whodunnit novel that wasn't even good enough to keep me reading until the end
- a box of baking soda that expired in 2009 (I'm not convinced that it really isn't good to use any more, but we also have a tub of baking soda and hardly ever use it so I'm just keeping one)
Happy decluttering, everybody!0 -
Woooohooo.. made a great start this morning, have binned loads & put out the recycling box loaded to the brim with card etc.. have decluttered at least 30 other items into boxes ready for charity or ebay & have a HUGE pile of toys ready to be given to a charity, my son decided he didn't play with them anymore & could I give them to some children who hasn't had any toys this year"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇0

Hi everyone, hope all is well
Not much declutering went on here yesterday apart from the return of 2 little people back to their own house, who I kept overnight.
I have removed a top from the dreaded drawer and put it on ebay.
Today I am going to scan some of the piles of paperwork I have in to the computer then shred, it is suprising how much you can jam in to a filing cabinet.

Can I join this year. I was in the challenge ages ago, but lost my way. I am aiming to reduce my possessions by half prior to a house move (hopefully towards the end of the year).0

Just about to go help DS. Today's chuck 13 challenge will be the airing cupboard, this is just a holiday extra lol. Am also starting a new habit - go into room, open window, light scented candle, spend 5 mins freshening room (so in bedroom make bed etc), blow out candle, shut window.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025
