  • I've been out most of the morning with DS1, but have got rid of some old foam rollers, some packaging from Christmas presents and an old plastic lunchbox that has a broken clasp.

    Every little helps!

Hi everyone. Didn't get a huge amount done yesterday but was happy with the few bits that did get done.

Today I had to go into town so I went via the CS and emptied all the boxes and bags of stuff out of the car.

I have also moved all my bits and pieces of savings into one account with reasonable interest. I closed all the other accounts plus a couple that were sat around with nothing in them and have fed all the old paper work (some of which goes back years) into the woodburner.

The other bit of good news is the Christmas decs are down and packed (neatly for a change) into boxes ready to go back in the garage. Mr PP has agreed that tomorrow we tackle the garage  then we can pack these away in all the space we will have created! With all the decorations down I have had a good clean and everything is looking pretty good for a change:rotfl:

    Have a lovely day

Have discovered my best decluttering tool - my iPad
Wanted to catch up on corrie so put it on the iPad itvplayer app and realised I was free to move it round the kitchen so have cleaned the microwave, decluttered 3 drawers and one cupboard and swept the floor (which i then vacuumed up the sweepings during the ads). Brilliant! DS has been beavering away for the last hour. Time to go give hima hand.

My decluttering is likely to be minimal today, got a lot on. But I do want to sort out my recycling for tomorrow since there'll be a collection and the recycling bin is currently full of bottles (if decluttering wine counts we have done an excellent job over the last week). If I manage to do this and get all the stuff up to the attic then I think I'll feel like I have a canvas to work on. I'm starting to wish now I'd kept a count of items like some of you have :)

Good luck and keep it up!

WOW you lot have been busy.
Today I have taken 1 big box & 3 carrier bags full of glass bottles & jars to the recycle centre.
I have also sorted through my wardrobe and have a big bag full of clothes that 'must have shunk' to put out in the Sally Army bag for collection tomorrow.

Still plenty more to do but at least I have now made a start.:j

    Hi everyone,

Back on the decluttering wagon after 2 months off.

I began this morning by decluttering the last mince pie, it was delicious!

Since then I have managed to sort 2 bags for the homeless hostel and take 3 carrier bags to the local charity shop.
I have also listed 3 things on freegle (just like free cycle).

I need a cup of tea.

    Happy decluttering everyone.:)
