i know bras are needed overseas, i think ive seen collection boxes in oxfam shops. i cant remember the address i set them to. but aparently women are considered better class and less likely to be raped if they are wearing a bra in some african countries so the charities are trying to ensure as many women as possible have the protection of wearing one.
donated them there please if you have a shop near to you

I had a flyer through the door and was surprised to read that they will give you cash for underwear including pants but not odd socks.

I have gone the other way, I have thrown out loads of mine because its too small for me now.:( I will treat myself to some new ones when/if I ever manage to get my weight back down.

Nothing worse than uncomfy undies so they have had to go!!

belfastgirl23, another alternative would be to give to them to a homeless or domestic violence centre, I am sure that they would appreciate your underwear.

I have had a very hectic week at work this week so feeling rather tired but have managed to:
    * Go through our recipe folder where we keep recipes from magazines, newspapers etc. Initially, I recycled the recipes that we didn't like or no longer fancy cooking. Once I had done this, I went through recipes that have been lying on a chair for several months waiting to be put into the folder. Next time I am cutting out recipes I am planning to put them straight into the folder.
    * All washing done, ironing will be done in the next hour or so.
    * Sorted through our shelf with oils and vinegars. 4 bottles have been decanted into 2 and the other 2 are now in the recycling bin.
    * Earlier this week, I cleaned our bedroom window on the inside.

Not much done. Threw away a plastic storage teapot toy today and 2 happy meal toys. Took 5 parcels to the post office and currently in the process of tidying my desk so clearing bits off there as I go.

Had to buy some uniform today so 2 bags, a pe kit and pumps and a tie coming in.

Got loads of things to list on eBay but unfortunately I need to do some sewing tonight (for a birthday next week so no ebaying today)

  • Not much for me. Have managed to sell 4 dvds over the past few days. And got rid of 2 pillows that are a bit past it.

I've not been here for ages. Not much decluttering going on,but I have sorted through/filed or binned (recycling) a huge amount of paperwork /newspapers/magazines which had built up.

I can now use the sitting room table as a table again.

I also put out a cactus into the compost which was on it's last legs.

    Yesterday I managed to:
    * Make another 6 paper logs
    * Descale the coffee machine
    * Use up 2 toiletries and then recycle them
    * Read my personal emails and either delete or respond to them

Never made a start on the cupboard upstairs, hopefully will start this next weekend

  • I need to have a massive declutter - all my 'stuff' is kept at my Gran's house as we don't have a loft but I went over yesterday & we literally take up an entire room * oops *
I think a day over there with bin bags sorting into charity shop/selling & bin piles is in order
