Decluttering 2013, the saga continues ...

This evening I've decluttered 7 tops so far! Some will be used as rags, some for car boot and some for a charity bag. I'm hoping to take another look up there in a minute to see if there's anything else I can get rid of!

**Edit: Okay make that 13 items decluttered from my wardrobe. Very pleased with myself!

We are having a BBQ on Sunday and to help me prepare for the BBQ I have spent 15 minutes every night after work tidying up and decluttering.

So far I have done this:
* All paperwork is gone from the side board in the living room
* I have recycled a couple of empty bottles, don't know why I have kept them
* A broken textile bag with a big hole has been thrown away
* 7 sachets of a moisturiser that I had a reaction from - I took these into work and dropped them off in our "free - help yourself shelf" for a work colleague to use up.
* I have hoovered downstairs ready for the BBQ

Tomorrow I will sort through the pile of mail whichI havent done for a while now.

Does anyone know of any use for old CD cases? I mean the plastic jewel case ones that come with rewritable CDs? Can I just chuck them (hurray!) or should I donate them????

a CS would probably find a new home for the jewel cases, so be happy of the donation.

used up the last of a tube of foot cream last night so thats in the recycling and out of my cupboard.
took the bag of clothes down to the clothes bank yesterday and took some garden cane i wont be using to the local school.

With recycling stuff out today, books to friend and clothes to one of the cash for clothes places, I am now up to 582 items out of the house this year!

Oh and if you have a nectar card and are anywhere near an Oxfam shop you can sign up to get nectar points for every £1 Oxfam make from selling your donated items.

Hello fellow declutterbugs. Having had three very good months i sorta drifted off after being away on a work trip. Having spent 45 mins looking for a notebook i'd written stuff in i now need i realise i need to refocus. S today i have spent an hour gardening (found a small watering can very useful), decluttered the fridge (pleased to say only one mouldy cherry tomato thrown out but today and tomorrow will be 'imaginative' meals rofl)

I have maintained good work habits (admire from the toothbrush principle) But home has slipped a bit. Dd2 has helped by sorting 26 mugs to go to the cs (and we still have enough for a large chimps' tea party!) plus 2 bags of clothes.

I'm going to go through my wardrobe again now and probably will have another bag of stuff to donate. I only wear about 5 of my dresses with a different cardigan, it's ridiculous!:D
