hello, haven't posted in here for a while, to say life has been hectic this year is a little bit of an understatement. However, I have still been decluttering even though I haven't been chatting
This evening I have been tackling my bedroom, trying to condense things to make it look a lot less cluttered. Bought some lovely new clothes this weekend, however trying to fit them into my wardrobe was a bit of a squeeze!! So that definitely needs sorting!
Recently decluttered items: a pair of shoes that I'll never wear again, little bits of paper (old to-do lists), a purse, keyrings, bags that are wearing out/broken...so a few random things! Shall take a look this evening to see what else can be decluttered0 -
Busy weekend- lots of cleaning, and tidying and decluttering in the gardens. Garden waste bin is full. Ash and unburnt bits from incinerator bin emptied into bags and in bin. HUGE pile of branches (bigger than our shed) burnt one evening this week by DH after some encouragement (DH calls it nagging lol)
Freezer clearout done- loads of ice pops in there from last year and year before binned as well as frozen pureed food from last year too. Whole drawer emptiedGoal this week is to empty another drawer with meal planning. Also a bag ready to take to charity.

morning fellow declutterers, everyone seems to be doing brilliantly. Still chipping away here, 2 binbags full of sheeets bedding etc went to an animal sanctuary yesterday, 2 shopping bags of stuff went over to my mums - 3 boxes of paints, an artists board and 2 bottles of nail polish for my niece. a babs of baby socks pair of trousers a pushchair with canopy a couple of pushchair liners and couple of boxes for my brothers family. bag full of candle stubs for my sister to remake into candles and my nephews birthday pressie. so feels like lots has gone.
just put a big bag of books out for the air ambulance charity, double bagged but i hope they get collected before it rains, will have to keep an eye on them.
made a start on another CS box and have a couple of bits - a toy and a big container for the art stash to take into school at lunchtime.
just going to do some gardening round mils so will go via the clothing and bottle banks as i have some to deposit in those.SPC~12 ot 124

I have got rid of so many of my clothes that I have lots of coat hangers cluttering up the place. I'm going to call the local charity shops to see if they can use them?0

More decluttering done in my kitchen this morning. I'm donating about 7 plates and 7 glasses as well as a big pot that I've never even used.

Car boot was brilliant Sunday before last - made £61.45 selling about 50 items, almost all gifts/freebies/things we've used well and no longer have a need for so really chuffed. Shared pitch with a friend so it only cost £3.50 each which helped the total too. Got rid of shoe rack, a couple of storage units & boxes we no longer need in new house - less places to store cr*p.
Also sold 3 things on ebay, my first since moving house. 1 magazine for more than I paid for it, 1 was a handbag I won in a competition a couple of years ago and haven't used and the last was a Cath Kidston bag & pouch I bought in a sale, used for work but now I walk it isn't worth in. Profit for all 3 was £52.74.
Also keeping up with general decluttering, - now that OH has shelves up in his office I've got the bookcases in my sewing room back so sorting stuff onto those gradually and this will hopefully generate some stuff to get rid of too.

Hi all, everyone is doing so well with all the clutter going out the door.
I had a big clear out in Feb, March & April. Lots of things we no longer need.
Still keeping up the good work although now more slowly. I don't think clutter ever ends.
I have been in the loft again! I must say, it has quite a few less things in now. My printer got old and would not print often. I knew I had another one in the loft. Well there was a choice of 2 so brought one into use. I also brought down a few more things to use and some to toss out.
The old printer will soon be off to the recycle centre. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0
