Been a bit quiet this week....... (in other words I've done nothing:o)

Today has been a bit better.

2 loads of washing done and currently drying in bedroom.

Wardrobe sorted resulting in a bag of clothes to get weighed in. (Did drawers last weekend so all clothes done now).

    6 belts in bin.

Eventually went through the pile of slimming world magazines my friend gave me last year. All recipes that sound good put in folder and magazines in recycling.

    continuing with mine........

Cables, cables cables! Why did we have 7 phone chargers, 3 non-working mobile phones, 4 mp3 players also not working (as far as I can work out) and an assortment of manuals not related to any of the above! No idea why we need to keep 12 Xbox/Game Cube controllers either, but apparently we do.

After wasting time trying to find places to recycle for cash, I've settled on RNIB, who at least can put any profit to good use.

Time to take down curtains and cushion covers, and to delve into the left to tuck them away for the week. I'll be up all night at this rate!

Well I'm over the cable crisis - most are going for recycling and chargers to charity. Now have to sort a pile in the corner of the lounge.... sewing machine, bubble wraps (loads - why? I don't actually need anything like that much), art and craft materials, wrapping paper. I need to be ruthless and just keep the crucial bits. Thankfully, the decorator says I don't need to empty my filing cabinet, which would take weeks to sort through.

pair of curtains - charity bag
pile of fabric napkins - going to be laundered and put in charity bag
stack of kids educational computer disks and magazines - charity bag
    cushion cover - charity bag
pair of toddlers trousers (my youngest is now in his teens!!) charity bag.

Had a bit of a sort out in my room this evening. Only a small one but at least it's something! Got rid of some pieces of paper I no longer needed, so they went into recycling. Got rid of some old receipts etc too. I'm planning on using up one of my Nivea body lotion sample sachets before bed too. Just little things but they can really add up! More decluttering tomorrow I think! :)

    Morning everyone
Just been swishing and swiping downstairs, tiding up ready for our visitor.
It did not take long because of all the decluttering the family have done in the last 2 months.

3 more mugs for the CS box. These mugs are coming out of the wood work! we had so many! I said we can keep what fits in our mug cupboard. We still have enough for a party.

Emptied the draining board and washed the breakfast dishes. Wiped over the sink. Clean cloths out.
Put away yesterdays laundry from clothes horse and rebooted washer.
Opened windows to circulate the air. Wish the men would not smoke indoors.

We still have a lot to do in the garden but Oh has made a start.
Today it is raining so can only do planning.

This thread really helps along with Flylady. we have seen a difference.

    keep going everyone....keep decluttering :)
