Back to work after a week away (albeit work too). Having taken on toothbrush principle on my work bugbear work emails plus my bf's advice to set 3 things to get done each day i blocked out all morning to attend to emails. I shifted the contents of @action and @pending to inbox. Taking total up to over 300) then munched my way through the lot. I now have 60 in my @action and 30 in my @pending. This afternoon i completed the two most urgent from my @action list. I have to say it feels very good. 3 more action points which should take care of another half dozen action emails set for tomorrow.
Then home to clean the fridge, shop and sortthe freezer.

Today I posted 6 items sold on ebay, 2 of which went in the same jiffy bag so 5 jiffy bags gone from stash, along with a sheet of thin foam stuff used to wrap a bottle of perfume (which sold for £25), before putting in its box. I've sold another 5 small items, so they will probably be posted on Wednesday, as I'm working all day tomorrow.

When I got back from the post office and visiting my dad, I decided to clear the tops of the fridge/freezer and wall unit to clean them, I must admit that most of the stuff was put back, but it is now all clean and is stacked a lot more neatly. I did empty 2 boxes of cereal into storage tubs (that were stored empty on top of the fridge with the cereals), and binned/recycled the packaging. I also took all the magnets off the fridge/freezer, and cleaned it and the magnets, before putting them back, then I cleaned the outsides of most of the cupboards, and the washing machine, all of which are now gleaming.

I still have 1 wall unit, the cooker and the floor to clean, but I had to give up for today as I could feel my back starting to play up, so will hopefully finish the rest on Wednesday morning. From Friday, I am off work for 6 days, so maybe I'll clean and sort out the insides of the cupboards while I'm off.

I can really do with joining this thread to be honest.

I've got quite a lot of things I don't you I could probably make a few quid for.

Hmm, shall have a gander and if I find anything worth selling I shall report back.

Out of interest, is there not a forum members for sale and regional section.

    Happy Easter, Becky.

I've had a major influx of 'stuff'!

My friend is also decluttering, but doesn't have time to do eBaying, so I'm going to do it on her behalf.

So upstairs there's a pile of clothes, shoes and handbags and other things. I've done some of the photography, and will do some more tomorrow.

I'll list it over the next few weeks, there's too much to do at once.

Plus there's my own eBaying, and OH is keen to get into the loft over Easter, to get a few more boxes down.

It's all go on the decluttering front.

Good morning all, some good progress made since I introduced myself a few days ago.

Batch of christmas cards (2012) in re-cycling along with what's on and where to go stuff (2010 & 2011), timetables etc. Goodly pile of paper shredded and transferred to compost bin.

IN two cabinets for TV and stereo stuff, built to fit the space and replacing 3 other items of furniture where everything was on display, there will be several OUT's when I can get the furniture re-cycling charity to collect, forgot it was Easter so might take a few days, smack hand for not organising it earlier.
Kitchen still looking good, needs a quick tidy this morning, and a home finding in cupboard for mixer tools. Paint for walls bought yesterday, so OH will be starting that soon (should be fun - him decorating and me cooking in the kitchen will not be a good mix:rotfl:)
