Quick 10 minute declutter this morning:
6 pairs of knickers (fall down or not particularly comfortable)
Small ornament
2007 (!) calendar
Rusty can opener
Foil remover for bottles (no need)
3 cat toys (they never play with them)0 -
I decluttered the 'drinks' cupboard and chucked out a bag of 4 year old coffee that was just a solid mass, an old jar of hot choc that had a small solid mass at the bottom and am undecided about a couple of open packs of tea that are from 2009 ans 2008...
I've also put a bin bag together of things to give to CS.0 -

Hi everybody, Haven't had time to read thread for couple days so hope you all doing well with your decluttering
Well I have managed ~
2 large bags to cs,
3 carry bags of rubbish in bin,
1 bag of clothes to friend,
so feeling quite pleased with myself :j
Got sooo much more to do,I don't always feel in the mood though, but you all help with your enthusiasm and posting on here with my results, so thank you one and all.
Hugs for those who need them.:)
Take care0 -
Afternoon all. The first day of March! and I got up LATE!
My bedside clock said 8am. When it was really 9.30am. Oh brought me a coffee and the dog came to say good morning and have a pat.
I got up and put my clothes on, including shoes. Trying the flylady way.
Set about pulling curtains back all around the house. The family do not bother with all. Opened windows.
I like to air the house each day.
Rebooted washing and took a photo of my "stain" to post on BZZ later. Trialing Vanish.
Washed breakfast dishes after checking the bedrooms for dishes.
Break for some breakfast = coffee and 1 croissant.
Computer on. Checked emails and deleted the trash and junk mail.
Postman has been, some mail in recycle bin.
To do list = hang washing on clothes horse, clean out coal fire grate.
Made a well done card for someone passing an exam.
I decided this year to make my cards again! I have the craft stuff. Now moved into a more accessible place.
I think when you have taken the trouble, the card in more personal.
I need to get out the cotton clothes I no longer need and take off the buttons, trimmings and make the material flat. I want to start a new hobby of patchwork/quilting.
That will be decluttering at the same time
Right off to clear the kitchen draining board of the things washed up earlier! You never know! I might shine my sinkThe secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
5 sacks of assorted clothing, underwear, shoes, bags and bedding to the "cash for clothing/fabric" place = £12.10
Another item used up in the bathroom and three things binned from the spare bedroom (out of the 'come in useful' box).
This year's total now 85.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Cleaned out the second bedroom (guest room) took down the old curtains in there and binned them. I found a brand new pair of curtains in the loft earlier in the week and put those up this morning.
The room just looks really nice now. All clean, clutter free and zero spent on the curtains which I had, had for some timeCat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

It goes to show all the clearing out turns up unused items and in some cases better than what you had!
