I think Mr F aka Mr Womble has not got the idea yet!
He came home from walking the dog with - an empty plastic washing powder tub, a baby's hat, a pull out toy storage bin, an empty bottle - AND - a cuddly toy!

Post just arrived - went from front door mat straight into the Recycle bin! Think I'll get DH to cut a slot in the bin to save time - haha. Not a lot else done. Decluttered some stewing beef & veg into the slow cooker. Not a great deal of motivation today - DH is watching the box, Cat is curled up in front of me on the desk snoring very gently - think I'll just chill ;)

I do my best to put junk mail straight into recycling.

If you just 'put it on the table' for a couple of days it soon builds up.

Done another kitchen drawer and found a horrid old apron, some flannels and tea towels that are ancient so going to put them into recycling.

  • Finally sorted out the airing cupboard in small bedroom. Which I got a half bag of rubbish.
Couple of drawers cleaned out in a bedroom. Small pile of clothes for charity shop.
Some plastic bottles/cans/tins put into recycling bin.
    Pile of paper shredded
Some suitcases/bags to go up into the loft (which will clear the top of a wardrobe)

We ordered a new carpet for my daughter's room yesterday - brighter than I would have chosen but it's her room. Now we really need to get going on sorting out her room. Spent a hour or so this morning, mostly rubbish for the bin but also sorted out:

    Book
    Watch
    8 toys

The hall is now full of things for the charity shop, OH will hopefully go later.

Back to work on the messy bedroom now, at least my daughter has now given up saying nothing can go and has left me to it. Have enlisted the reinforcement of my husband to help so let's go...

    One hour later, have decluttered:

Huge bag of clothes for CS
Ripped and stained clothes to bin
Small bag of toys for CS
Lots of bits and pieces of rubbish in the bin

Gosh that was hard work. The room is pretty much sorted now, now it just needs scrubbing from top to bottom!

Just had a go through the cabinet here by the computer - got all the kids school books and will put them in a plastic box in the loft, threw out loads of bits of paper and also some empty files which will be useful for when DH is ready to start getting his filing organised.

Also found 2 knitting patterns I'm going to give to CS - no idea on earth why I got them!!!
