    Hello :j

Been AWOL. Mobility has been a bit poo so that's slowed me down. But I reached 415 items in January so very pleased :)
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.

Didn't do so well yesterday, these new tablets make me exhausted and so tired, did a few bits, so have revised the list for today

Have given myself a small list of jobs today:-
    [STRIKE]AVON - 3 boxes of returns[/STRIKE]
Hoovering - cannot ignore this task anymore]
[STRIKE]Ironing - small pile could wait until tomorrow[/STRIKE]
    Clean kitchen
    Dust living room
Dining room - needs good clear out
    Organise Fridge and Freezer
    Declutter/use up:
Wrinkly apples - hoping to magically transform them into Dutch Apple Cake
OOD Yogurts - hoping to magically transform them into Muffins
[STRIKE]Stale Bread/Rolls - hoping to magically transform them into bread pudding[/STRIKE]
    Sausage rolls

Having really funny/horrid dreams they seem to rotate nightly - the night before last i woke up in hysterical laughter today I had to wake myself up through sheer terror

Declaring Jan at (just over) 330 items - put IKEA 2012 catalogue in recycling, along with empty box, and washed and gave to charity OH's thermals (which he finds too itchy so have been sat at bottom of laundry basket for 3 years!).

Have had a teeny bit of flingers regret with dress got rid of the other day as I did like it, but trying to remind myself that I barely wore it because the buttons kept popping open!!

Aim for Feb is 300 items, still long way to go. Counting is a great way to motivate me.
    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:TWell done!:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Big hugs to everyone who is suffering from depression/SAD. As a sufferer for 25 years you have my sympathies. We bought one of those SAD lamps for Christmas, and have a blast of it for around half an hour every morning before getting up. Think it's helping, I'm not as depressed as I normally am after Christmas (or it could be the prozac I take every day!)

Have been working on hubby's quilt again the past couple of days: I'm hand quilting it so it's not a quick job, but I've nearly finished it. I had set myself the target for end of January, but hey ho, so what if it takes another week?

Have booked our holiday for 10th September, so need to declutter around 4 stone of fat before then. So will be starting my healthy eating plan tomorrow, might even weigh myself in Boots if I'm brave enough!

It's a new month nearly - I decluttered 165 items this month. Amazing - I didn't think I had much more to lose as the house is tidy, but it's there, lurking in cupboards and drawers out of sight! I think I'll aim for 100 again in February ....
Thanks loopychris - i have got my eye on a couple of portable sun lamps on ebay but got to wait till payday as car insurance due today, when i was finally diagnosed with SAD i found this thread, and as part of my first decluttering round, I removed a couple of blinds (where we had curtains also) and was amazed by how much extra light came in. Sadly its antoher grey rainy day here in essex

Well done on nearing the end of hubbys quilt - I so hope we get to see a pic!!!

Holidays - something to look forward to - I think I will join you on your weight loss - i also have several stone to shift and we have a holiday booked with family in July. We are starting our healthy eating plan on Monday - have warned kids all junk will be thrown away on Sunday night

Well done on your decluttering x

Mineallmine Gonna join you this weekend - it'll be the kick up the rear I need to clear our small bedroom or 'puter room' as DH calls it. There's so much 'stuff' I can't look at it as its become overwhelming & I've ignored it.
Right - sleeves rolling up tomorrow & get stuck in ;)
