First day of the month and absolutely nothing decluttered here today. Food shopping day, so loads of stuff in. Also bought a little plastic shopping trolley for granddaughter to play with when she stays. There will be an 'out' to this one though, as we've got a couple of toys that she's too big for now. Had a bit of a day off today.... could have bought loads of lovely stuff from the charity shop I took my stuff to, but I resisted. Having spent the last 9 months decluttering I'm going to wait until we've moved before I start cluttering up again!!! (Only joking...!)
Hoping to do better tomorrow... xxKeep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

My son who is 15 led me to the kitchen and showed me the definition on Wikipedia.
Enough said.
Just to clarify we do not have a glory hole in our annexe!
OMG I had to visit Wikipedia....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...spat tea all over the laptop!!!0 -

I use that phrase in the same context as well - having read Wikipedia I won't be anymore! :rotfl:0 -
Well today has got off to a fine start!
I had a big bulky telly that never worked properly so I just stuck it at the top of the stairs. I've been walking past it for the last year...it's finally gone to the tip. Woohoo!!! It's freed up so much space too. Can't believe how big TV's used to be!

Saturday hooray. And candlemas to boot. I love candlemas, a day of new beginnings. 'Since Candlemas is often considered the beginning of spring, you can perform another ritual act of purification: spring cleaning. This would be a good time to do a thorough house cleaning, sweeping the floors with salt water, banishing the gloom of winter and creating a sparkling, shiny new setting for spring.' So today i will be opening the windows, lighting candles and cleaning the house (though not with salt water-not sure my carpets would like that!) and this evening i shall be watching groundhog day. Again. I love that film :-)MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Oh heck, decided to move the boxes of glass (my inheritance from my Dad) from the box room to the attic. Not only has this led to the cat getting stuck at the top of the step ladder, now I realise how much other junk has been lurking behind the boxes.
Found and decluttered:
2 OOD tubes of jelly beans
2012 calendar
6 toiletries
Gift set
So much other stuff still left, guess I'll have to go back in there. Wish me luck.0 -
No decluttering happening here as I have to wait until the new bed and mattress are delivered on Tuesday so the living room is still a little cluttered, however I can wait.
There will still be stuff to go out - a sort of second pass of the stuff I've kept.
I enjoy reading about others and their success and I can imagine great big bubbles of space and light and pleasure all around you all.0 -
Another sweep of the box room, decluttered:
Rug (very stained, why did we keep this, going to the tip)
Carpet offcut
8 pictures
My Little Pony
Bag full of bibs
Baby hat
Set of little boxes
Stair gate

I have not been managing a lot of decluttering recently but today I have
Given a bag of books to a friend for the school library.
Given a set of books to another friend for his son.
Given three bags of books to CS.
Given a bag of ornaments to CS.
Arranged for someone to come and collect a huge bag of jam jars on monday.
Time for a cup of tea I think!
Happy decluttering everyone.:)0
