36. Two x rock hard long flump sweets - food bin
37. 3x OOD cakes (October 2012) - food bin
38. PEZ Sweetholder - recycle

Old computer discs
Disk drive from computer that I don't have any more
Cushion
2 stained cushion covers
Murder mystery game
Curtains

Unearthed a nice lamp that I've now re-homed in the lounge. Also found lots of photos which have been added to the photo cupboard, this is really going to need sorting out at some point but perhaps can wait until later in the year.

How annoying - have you contacted the seller? they might partially refund you for not being mentioning it in the listing esp if mould is involved!

Hope little ones are better today, DD in bed unwell - there is a gastro bug gonig around praying she hasn't caught it!

Another busy day chez DD. church soon for belated candlemas celebration (we all walk round the cathedral holding a candle and at one point have to let choir cross over to get back to stalls - pandamonium!)
1) decluttered 2 icecreams which weren't very nice (will stick to b&j or mackays in fututre) into sink, washed out tubs and now in RC
2) tatty towel rags bag
3) flannel ditto
4) baby's glove ditto as only one
5) make up bag stained bin
6) pencil case grotty bin
7) soap bag CS
8) grotty soap bag bin (no idea why we have so many!)
9) found electric toothbrush heads -> OH
10) unidentified object bin
11) odd playing cards RC
12) strange magnetic blocks instructions lost bin
13) broken toothbrush holder bin
The back bedroom is starting to look like progress is being made. Will carry on attacking it this week. Hoping a friend is coming to collect the little practice organ today with stool. If so we will be able to move the dresser into the music room and the coats into the hall where the dresser is. Our downstairs loo is far too small for coats. Then 'just' the attic, shed and 2 kitchen cupboards to go. Oh and the computer files which i started on friday. I'm thinking end of march is a good target to get this all done, then we shall turn our minds to decorating

Morning all

Up quite early this morning and have so far achieved:
* Sorted out OH's medication box and have written a stock check list inside the shoe box so that he knows what he is running short off. 2 big bags of medication have therefore left the bookshelf in the living room. The bookshelf is looking so much better now.
* Yesterday's washing have been ironed and put away.

Lobby - if you are going to tackle cleaning the bookcase (sounds as if you are) Use something that will cut through the grease in a spray bottle & leave it to 'soften' a bit. In the past I've used the cheap all purpose cleaner with one of those green scourer things - they dont scratch the wood. When you've got it clean finish off with the VERY fine steel wool & it gives a lovely 'satin' finish.

Just had a bit of a tidy up in the study whilst DH did some shredding and I have decluttered 2 Argos catalogues. One of them was from 2011

I keep flitting back to this thread to read and have half heartedly joined in some challenges but never completed them Why can't I stick to them?! :mad:

I need to seriously declutter. Badly. I can't find my passport & as I'm travelling to visit my brother in April, I need to find it sharpish. I've given myself a week to find it before I have to apply for a replacement as I can't risk not going....

So..last night I started in my bedroom. So far I have the following...

1-5: Bags of clothes for cash4clothes.
6-8: Bags of clothes for charity bin (yep, I haven't decluttered them for ages!)
9. 1 big charity sack full of old paperwork and envelopes.

And I haven't even made a dent Things built up after kiddie #4 was born, and I'm a little overwhelmed
