  • You know the phrase a watched pot never boils - just started my declutter and the phone went - my sis has just had a baby girl (7lbs 15oz) - massive relief and deep joy!

    ....now I can concentrate....;) xx
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
  • Another couple of files decluttered, and papers shredded/recycled. Only a few more files to go ....

I've decluttered the driveway of snow, does that count? :rotfl:

Also been rummaging in a cupboard, got a load of papers out that relate to when my mum and dad died in 2008 and 2004 respectively. I'll get those shredded this evening.

I don't know why I still had things like their old gas and electric bills - I only keep my old gas and electric bills for a year, so their bills from the mid 2000's are definately not needed.

Also found some telephone extension cables... I don't know why we have so many, so they'll be going, if I can bin them without the OH noticing, he likes keeping cables just in case. Just in case of what, I have no idea!

It's getting harder to find a minimum of 10 things from the spare room. Mainly because there are huge areas to unearth. I'm tinkering at the edges. But baby steps nonetheless :)

May ask hubby to sort some things :j

Keep going everyone, we can do this :A

  • Slight blip in the declutter process. Desk in (from freecycle) no where to go as the cupboard in the bed room wasn't shifted.
Cupboard dismantled.. hubby has hidden everything in it... :mad:no idea where any bedding or the spare towels are.. I know how you feel Flyingmamma.

    likklegibbon congrats!

Baileys bottle emptied :o and now in recycling bin. There is room in my glass cupboard again.
More clothing out of DD1's cupboard. Really must get it on ebay.
  • Had a snow day so spent today ebaying (51 items listed altogether!), done lots of housework including cleaning our mould/damp problem :(. Took the bags to the charity shop on saturday so they're gone.
Soon exams will be over and I can declutter the closet on the landing!:j
