  • No, there is nothing about £100 being fair, its possible that it has been removed as its tripe.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

The 'apology' is in the current issue of the magazine so will probably come online at some point this week.

Maybe instead of printing an apology, they should have printed how the BPA justified the £100...

Or printed the "evidence" Premier Park provided to justify the £100 charge.

Most likely doctored CCTV pictures showing vehicle entering at X and leaving at Y where they say doctored Y is longer than the grace period.

I believe we will have an opportunity to debunk the article with meaningful posts
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Bumping this for more newbies to see as we are still getting posts about the 'new law' and people aren't searching!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not sure how we can convince new members that these PPCs are are a load of con artists and the lowest form of human life. How can we get new members to do a search before posting and save all the replies by members. Any suggestions, I'm sure, would be more than welcome.

If it's just a standard scam PCN why doesn't the first person to come across the thread just say "You can ignore this PCN" with a link to the info thread.

No-one else needs to reply, it's dealt with in seconds.

Just bumping it again to remind people of the original message: :)

Coupon I think you're loosing the plot mate. If you don't like answering the same old questions every day then stop doing it. No-one said thats your responsibility in life, no-one has said you must answer, no-one has said the world will stop spinning without your advice.

If you don't like helping people then don't bother helping them. It's as simple as that.

That might be a very good way to proceed for a while.
