    Morning all!

Thanks shegirl! Added to favs so should come in handy! Both my mum and I would like new carpets!
    This morning i have
    stripped and washed DS2's bed
    Emptied and loaded DW
Put another load of washing on
    Been to Asda!
    Prepped tonights tea
This afternoon i must sort DS's wardrobes they are in a state!!

No snow here yet! Not overly bothered if it comes or not tbh! The boys would love it, but it would mean no school/nursery. A hard day in work for me and DH will probably get called in as other chef wouldn't make it!

Hope you all have a productive day :)

  • Missymoo, take 2 min to breathe and close your eyes - it's a horrible feeling.... Eng lit sounds really interesting, my first degree was Civil Engineering and I'm always slightly in awe of those who can study subjects where there isn't a 'right' answer. Engineering (and engineers!) tend to be rather black and white, right or wrong...

    So far today I have

1/ been to docs. They won't fit a Mirena until I'm 3 months postnatal so back on the pill for a while.
2/ delivered all children to appropriate locations with correct bags. Always a plus!
3/ collected prescriptions for me and OH
4/ been to Aldi - £57 for the week which I'm pleased with, it is rubber chicken for 3 days though :-)
5/ done DD's homework (she's in foundation stage so requires quite a lot of help with it, I don't do it for her!)

And now am in town looking for ingredients to make ricotta cheese (very easy accordin to google and DD is doing "where does food come from" this term). And possibly duck eggs because she insisted that only chickens lay eggs. You wouldn't think we live in a village with several farms, including one we back on to...

No friends for tea, the dreaded sicky bug has hit.

    So still to do

    1/ put shopping away
    2/ make lasagne
    3/ clear dresser
    4/ bunting
    5/ play with baby
6/ do NOT forget to collect big ones from school.

  • Thank you for the tips, I really like the washing line type idea :)

I have nearly finished my ever growing list of stuff that needs doing its longer than i thought..... arrgghhh
You know when you start looking and soon discover that your clean tidy house is not so clean and tidy!!!

I have cleaned kitchen cupboards, drawers and sorted them out, under the sink was a total disaster!

    so list goes like this
    Kitchen
    work tops need deep clean
    radiator needs cleaning
    skirting boards
larder needs re sorting and throw out all out of date stuff
    sort pinboard
scrub chairs (covered in glitter paint!) look for new matching chairs on ebay.

    Living room
filing cabinet needs sorting - mammoth job
book case needs re organising and sorting - some stuff really needs to go
    skirting boards
    windows
    door needs scrubbing
pc corner needs cleaning and sorting - oh territory.....

    bathroom
    deep clean
sort shampoos and conditioners into one bottle loads of dregs in bottles

    utility room - disaster area!
    Sort out pegs of coats/bags
    organise cupboard
clean out under the sink and dump stuff on freecycle/charity shop
craft drawers need sorting and possibly finding a new home

    under the stairs
scary place leaving alone for now as no space at the moment to put anything anywhere and all teh baby stuff is under there and until man decides if we are doing it again i can't move it ie sell ect!

    Hallway

deep clean - skirting boards, mirrors, ceiling

    bedroom 1

I did manage to sort my drawers I even made a draught excluder with old tights and all oh socks with holes in - fabby, need to make it fancier now ohh a craft project!
    sort other drawers,
    under the bed
dressing table needs sort and organising - more stuff must go
    deep clean when all sorted

bedroom of child is probably the most organised room in the house
    needs a deep clean

    garden -
    AARRGGHH!
oh needs to sort green house several trips to the tip needed where did all the damn cardboard come from? the rat has been having a fieldday!
So have all the moles judging by the amount of mole hills!

Oh is refusing to take stuff to the cellar till spring - you can only access the cellar via the public road its a big walk around, i did offer to drop stuff down to him as there is a sheer drop from our garden to the door of the cellar he wasn't amused. (old listed building the access orginally in the house is now a bathroom) rented so we can't do anything although he threatens to get a jigsaw and cut a hole!.

thats my list not adding any more till spring :(
I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:

I don't know whether to laugh or cry - cry because the ex thinks so little of his son or laugh because he isn't going to get what he thinks he is:eek:

Was doing really well today, music on,singing away, painting and doing the housework- nice and positive, then I got a call from the CSA that has put me off doing anything today!

Mr Tw*tface ex thought he could rent as big and expensive house a he wants and be granted full housing costs reducing our sons maintenance heftily:mad: (he's stuck on the old system due to when it was originally opened the first time he left)It NEARLY worked until I pointed out to the CSA that their calculation is wrong and telling them their own rules.:rotfl:

So,now they have to redo it...ex probably had a call telling him the amount they thought it would be and he probably jumped up and down with glee- shame they got it wrong:rotfl::rotfl: Oh,to be a fly on the wall;)

So,kinda humerous in a way and I've never been so happy about him running off with another woman- me and ds get to be happy and someone else can look forward to suffering in the future:D

BUT it's still got me peed off that he can have such a nerve:mad: Don't feel like doing anything now :(

Ooh,just had another let down turn to bonus phone call- from the underlay place this time:j Phoned to tell me the cloud 9 I ordered is actually out of stock, they can get it in but not for tomorrow. So,if I want they will send me the same thickness Tredaire instead, which is the most expensive brand, for the price I paid for the cloud 9...naturally I said yes:T

Now I feel more positive again and looking forward to getting the new carpet down tomorrow so back on a mission:D

    Crazy day for me:o

If you can manage without CSA money for 13 weeks you can close the CSA1 case and open a new one on CSA2. There just has to be a 13 week gap for them not to be linked and for him to go back onto CSA1. I assume that this would not go down well with him?

It might not be a good idea if you are trying to maintain any kind of relationship with him...

No relationship with him at all, when he ran off he ran away from ds too :(

The old system will work out better for us :) they just need to remember their rules, they're not well known for their efficiency *rolls eyes*

Would never change over, the money is needed for ds (due to his disability) so if there were to be any drops in the maintenance I can take him to court for a ' maintenance top-up' due to sons disability and care needs rather than closing and opening.

Shouldn't have to bloody do any of it though.

But still, onwards an upwards- he ain't gonna win and I have a house to finish...after my cuppa that is:o

Darling baby girl not a happy camper today, so playing with her ha consisted of cuddles and shushing to swaying from mum. I need to get her in the sling really be go for a walk. 35min to school run, so I might sit down for a cup of tea. Or I might put the laundry away. This organisational thing is relentless!

I have ingredients and equipment for making cheese - ricotta and halloumi, so we will have a go after school! Have also bought quails eggs and duck eggs for DD and DS to try... Will post back on the cheese making - the one I really want to try is mozzarella but that looks a bit more complicated. Next week maybe!
