  • I have an epson printer, I find the following video very therapeutic and feel obliged to watch it nearly every occasion that I need to use the cartridge refusing, blocked nozzle b*****d of a thing -

I've obscured the link by adding spaces because although the video is not in any way graphic, the accompanying songs lyrics are NSFW!

James, I'm laughing pleasurably at your post even before hitting your linky.

Well, if you haven't lost the will to live with this tired Thread[matched by me over the mess of not having a working printer still]I'm going to spend 3 hours max on trying to sort this all out again, before going off to buy a new one.

    Hello santer,
Just back from town. Stripped everything epson out.
Will now attempt to reinstall from your post 21 onwards.

Also picked up crib sheets on these from John Lewis:

    ditto X405 - now £59.95
    Canon pixma MG4150 all-in-one wireless - £49.95
    HP photosmart 5520 e-All-in-one wireless - £69.95.

These are the 2 headings under drivers:

Have you got a link to the page you are downloading from?

At the worst, if you try to install an older driver then the installer will let you know, if you try to install a driver for a machine you have not got on the PC, the installer should also tell you about that.

The XP range have expensive compatibles at the moment, not much cheaper than genuine ones, this should improve when enough of them are sold but until then be prepared to wince when replacing the inks in them.

This is the download page which applies:

    http://esupport.epson-europe.com/ProductHome.aspx?lng=en-GB&data=nKGrQtfEm6kIrU002Ff8e8DH1MkpXLu3DUEA4KlSqscz+zkU003D&tc=6

I do not understand what to do next, because the things you wrote in post 21 are not appearing now.
