Sticking to the (revised!) meal plan. We had chip butties tonight with proper chips, it's years since we had proper chips but the potatoes needed eating up. We had chocolate sponge and icecream for afters. The tub was nearly empty and taking up valuable freezer space.

Shocking news ......... are you ready ......
I've even managed a Dessert tonight
Have loads of Bananas to use up (always seem to have these) and found an OOD Easter Egg from last year
(I don't really eat chocolate in a bar ... but love choc cake, biccies & in desserts) so ..... in the oven right at this minute is ....
Baked Bananas stuffed with Chocolate (smashed the easter egg!):j:j:j I'd never have thought of this before:o:o
The bananas might've been used for Muffins / Banana Loaf (but there's still enough to do this ) and the Easter Egg would've festered in the cupboard for another few months & then been chucked out
Thanks everyone for the kick up the butt I needed :T:TGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

So far so good:
Monday: chicken goujons, new potatoes, veg
Eaten as planned, and we even ate up some leftover readymade meringues I had lying round after I bought then as a pudding option for Christmas Day
Tuesday: chicken pasta bake
Just setting an alarm on my phone to get the chicken out to defrost tomorrow morning.
Wednesday: bread and soup (frozen from previous home-cooking)
Thursday: pasta with bolognaise sauce
Friday: stir fry using slightly out of date sauce from the cupboard
Saturday: pizza rolls
Sunday: no idea but I'll think of something.0
