    Hi ev1

What a productive day I have had today :j it's been trees n bees today.

I'm on a mission to help save the honey bee as they are really suffering with one thing and another. Hoping to be able to help with that one :) just need the grand plan to come together.

If I can pull it off then there will be some exciting times ahead! (well exciting to me :D)

    Take very good care

Dreeeeeam, dream, dream, dream, dream :D

That sums up my day really and dreams are free :money: I need a big wad of money to come my way in the not too distant future please :)

Never mind, I've got my family and my house so I'm more fortunate than some and it doesn't do to be greedy - not an attractive quality.

I see many people speaking of yellow sticker shopping, I don't bother with these unless it's something I absolutely will use. I find I end up chucking food out and I don't want to buy obscure products just because they are cheap. Perhaps it's because of their obscurity that those items are on the reduced shelf in the first place * shrugs *

    Confession time :D

I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to buying bread as well, I like to buy it fresh from the oven and not something which is on it's sell-by date, nothing worse than stale sarnies :(

Maybe if our circumstances were different I would shop at 8pm in Morrisons but I am thankful that we can afford what we want and can make large inroads on the debts we have.

This could well change as the boys grow older though * rolls eyes * I keep hearing laptop and ipad mentioned, better get saving now then!

My gorgeous husband has his birthday this week so I think we are going out on Thursday for a meal. DS2 wants ice-cream with chocolate brownies in it - oh what it is to be 7 :rotfl:

OK, hoping tomorrow will bring big benefits for the environment :T

    Debt 1 - £1225 needs paying by 4th July 2013, £225.00 ptd.

    Debt 2 - £11750 needs paying by 31 July 2014, £0 ptd.

Just thought I'd give a little update :)

The environmental stuff is gaining momentum which is fantastic :j:j from little acorns great oak trees can grow :T:T

It's also giving me a great opportunity to talk to some top brass peeps which is always good especially when they see things the same way as I do :D

Had a fabby day in work today as well, it's well worth getting out of bed some days :rotfl:

I've been doing a bit of mooching around the site and am considering taking up padding, I think I might give it a trial run to see if I can get along with it first.

I have also been really entertained by those AE's. They know that I know that's why they avoid me mmmwwwwwwaaah-ha-ha-ha. Lorra lorra laughs :D

OK off to look at more threads :T

    Good morning :j

What a feisty morning I have had so far :D

I took my 2 boys to school this morning and there was a skip lorry in front of me which pulled over and stopped. I drove past went round the corner and parked up at the top of the road. As I was getting boys out of the car the skip lorry came round the corner and was driving up the road. I locked my car and started walking to school.

Next thing I heard BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEEP. I ignored it as I do not respond to vehicles beeping their horns at me whilst I am walking along the path.

The lorry stopped and I heard the chappie shout " SHIFT YOUR CAR", with that I spun round and shouted back " I hope you just didn't say shift your car to me".

    "Move your car" he shouted.

"No, the way to ask is can you move your car please?" I shouted back, "Go on then ask me properly"

I forced him into asking me, and he was apologising by this time as I told him I was in a good mind not to move for him.

I went down to his lorry and told him in no uncertain terms that asking someone to "shift your car" isn't very good customer service and is not appropriate first thing in the morning.

"Sorry love, I just wanted you to move your fffffff car" I gave him daggers as he almost swore but he saw the look I gave him and he obviously thought better of it. "Sorry love, can you move your car please, sorry"

I did move my car as he has a job to do, I was being awkward because of the way he spoke to me. I went off chuckling to myself :rotfl::rotfl:

Rain, rain and more rain :j

OK this post is going to be a serious one so be warned :)

I am on a mission to help save the honey bee........

Why? - because they are dying out at a rate of knots due to colony collapse.

How does this affect us? - as the main pollinator of plants if there are no honey bees then there will not be enough food for us to eat.

What can we do? - to give the honey bee the best possible chance we can at sustainability and longevity we need to have as many flowers growing as possible.

It does not matter if you have a tiny back yard or only window box space, planters, borders or small areas of wild flowers will all help. You do not need acres of garden space.....

Urban areas are seeing little colony collapse so city gardens and flowers are playing an important part in keeping the honey bees alive due to little pesticide use and more flowers being in bloom for longer periods which is not found in the farming countryside.

Please help to redress the balance :A

Happy to report my garden is full of bees from dawn 'til dusk - all shapes and sizes too :) I do grow a lot of bee friendly plants and provide winter shelter and all for not a lot of effort. OK I live in a a rural spot surrounded by fields but at school ( middle of large housing estate) we plant up 'bee breakfast' hanging baskets and provide winter shelter too - result lots of busy bees there too :)

Hey Igamogam that's fantastic to know :T

It doesn't just have to be the honey bee we need to support, all pollinators need to be encouraged so well done for doing your part :T:j especially getting children involved.

I love the 'bee breakfast' hanging baskets :)

OK, big cheese is visiting today so must try to beautify myself ( read calm my wig down a bit).

    Speak later

    Hi everyone :j

Well my darling husband took us out for Sunday lunch :T he's spoiling me :D

Moving onto July, as we reach the half year mark my thoughts are turning to joining some of the challenges out there to keep me focussed, I have so much I want to do :)

I have already talked about the payment a day (padding) and I think I will join the weekly spend challenge and the pay your debts off by Christmas 2013. These should keep me busy for a bit. I also have my mortgage free diary to attend to - must not forget that one.

I need to sort myself out if I am to buy myself a new car :D I am fancying an Audi A3 Quattro in blue :)

I need to buy yet another lottery ticket as I didn't win enough on Friday lol.

Elsewhere, some people just cannot stop themselves from promoting their threads by using their AE's. It's blatantly obvious who they all originate from especially seeing as though the original user is not on as much because they need to keep posting as these other made up people, this is why you get supposed male posters coming across as female. My DH would never talk about half of the things I've seen nor would his male mates.

Some people have no shame :rotfl::rotfl:

What a lovely day it is :j

    Financials;

I have June's pay sat in my bank with extra from a share in the company profits :j:T:j not too shabby either I have to say.

So far moved the odds to my savings account, paid mortgage plus overpayment, the dreaded council tax, overpayment to cc and gas and electric has been paid by DD as well.

    Elsewhere;

I have used some of my extra pay to buy the boys an 8 ft trampoline - hopefully this will keep them amused over the summer hols and will get them out into the garden :T

OK must go and do an online shop so I can use my vouchers
