    Plans, all plans :D

I'm starting this post but you will have to bear with me as I might be adding to it as I figure out what I need to achieve in June.

So far I have worked out I need 76 packed lunches for June, 20 each for the husband, DS1 and orange boy DS2 and 16 for myself.

I can buy bread from work and it is really thick and I can get 6 sarnies out of it = 70p or I can buy 12 packs of rolls =96p. Worked out that I will need 1 pack of rolls and 2 loaves = £2.38 a week or £9.52 for the month.

Tinned tuna is £3 for 4 tins in £stretcher and there are usually offers on cheese if I can be bothered to shop around. Eggs are OK but must be free range, I hate the thought of battery farms even if the conditions are supposed to have improved. I love stuffing sarnies as well - weird but true :D

I will have to price other items up, especially salad since DS2 loves salad.

I can make madeira cake in my bread maker and it is lovely, yummy. DS2 wants to make 'English scones' as well so could do those tomorrow perhaps.

DS2 - orange boy looks like he's just rocked up from Essex!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Story time :D

The little blue box flew through the universe without trouble or delay, not even space time dilation could throw the little blue box off course.

Inside, the Doctor and imaginary dog K9 busied themselves with stellar maps and twinkling lights unaware of where the box would land.

It halted in mid space as though definite in its plans. Slowly the little blue box materialised on the planet of the Greebs.

The Doctor opened the door of the box slowly and took in his new surroundings,

"Hello, what have we got here then?" said the Doctor to himself, "We seem to have landed at a time in the future, come on K9, let's go and be inquisitive"

Just who are the Greebs, what year is it and what will happen to the Doctor? More importantly, how many new friends can I introduce into it :rotfl:

Ooooo well would you believe it, they are looking for the next Dr Who. Spooky or what

Just call me kosmik kittie :rotfl::rotfl:

Mara get your imaginary dog and head on down to casting :j it could be you :D

On another note, my lovely husband bought a lottery ticket the other day and asked orange boy to touch the ticket for luck.

1st four numbers pulled out matched, the next number was 2 digits away and the last number was 1 digit away. There are certainly some strange goings on atm, thankfully in a good way.

I told him to give the next tickets a really good rub and let's see what happens, I suppose anyone who was the first baby to be born in this area on New Year's day must have some sort of lucky streak :T :T

No no no to Dr who ! I am still traumatised 40 years later from having to hide from the daleks coming by skulking behind the sofa !
My niece is a huge Dr Who fan, but I'm afraid I just can't watch it even now !
Me and unseen Lassie will stay on the island methinks !

Great news on the lottery win, I'll send my tickets to be rubbed by the tinted child !

Oh dear the trauma thing isn't good. I always liked Tom Baker as the Dr.

The Armchair Thrillers used to scare me, just one look at the white chair in the shadows had me hiding behind a cushion, even when they were repeated, and I must have been 18 :rotfl:

It's a pity DH didn't get all 6 numbers, I could have bought something with a roof then :j

Sooo I just did a bit of an inventory check of the freezers, the one really needs a good defrost so thought I'd take a look.

I seem to have built up a small stock of onion bhajis from these curry kits in the chiller section. Ridiculous really that everything else in the kits is micro-wavable for time saving but they expect you to put the oven on to cook 2 bhajis. It makes me wonder about these supermarkets sometimes!

I have a packet of spring roll as well so I thing we'd better have a Chinese night one day this week. MIL sent a pack of stir fry mix down as she didn't like it, not sure if I want it though :( 1 pack of egg fried rice (starting to sound like a feast)

There's a pack of mince that I can split into 2 lots, one for spag-bol and one for either mince n mash or chilli. I've got a bag of Quorn mince I never knew existed :D

There's 4 chicken burgers, I have meat free ones from Tesco.

Toad in the hole with mash, I'll have soup.

Thin beef steaklet thingies, chicken nuggets/dippers, popcorn chicken.

Frozen chips I didn't know were there.

    3 frozen chicken breasts

    A gammon roast thingy.

Veg eg cauli, cabbage, sprouts, why there are 3 bags of each open I do not know.

4 hot cross buns, 1 jam roly poly and a rhubarb pie.

Loads of beans jars of curry sauce.

So I need to buy milk, rice, potatoes, bread rolls and maybe salad and Quorn pieces and stuffing.

Cheap food week this week :T hoping to defrost the freezer next weekend.

I've started avoiding them and try to choose the ones that have naan bread instead. My DH thinks they're too greasy when done in the micro, I'm not really a fan even when they've been baked but I can't bring myself to chuck em out :)

I usually make curry on Saturday night but there's always those times when I just can't be bothered.

I was daydreaming earlier, have you any idea how this missives stuff works Mara? Once they are sorted do you pay all the money at that point or do you pay a deposit then and agree on a date to pay the rest?

Also if you want to make an offer do you just phone the estate agents and say I want to offer £'s for x property or do you get a solicitor to do it?

I am a bit baffled by the Scottish system tbh as I do not know the rules yet.
