    Dear John :D lovely to speak with you once again.

    What a day I've had today! I have felt as though I was on a boat all day long :rotfl:

    Better news, my online shop was delivered and I didn't realize how much I had ordered, that's the one drawback of not being able to see what you've ordered in real life. I now have a crisp mountain :rotfl:at least the packed lunches will benefit and I have warned DS2 that they are to last the month and not to be scoffed by the end of the week! I think I did pretty well for £108 and I have £42 left for bits-n-bobs.

    I also spent £12 on stuff for the homeless charity I support and got loads. Cornflakes, UHT milk, coffee, rice pudding, EV pot noodles (apparently these are really popular) so I have to take them to work so they will be collected :T

    I still have items to put away but I will look at that issue tomorrow.

    Well that's all for now Jonny :D

    Hello John my old matey :D

    First the financial news;

    I had just signed up for the next share save scheme run by my company. We can buy shares in the company at a reduced price over 3 years and then sell, keep or cash in depending upon the economics. On a good day you can almost double your money but it's usually a one third return.

    We get a share in the company profits next month too hurray :T

    Other news;

    I bought some Thermos lunch bags for the boys this morning and they both think they're great - good result for mother there then :rotfl:

    I'm glad they're having packed lunches now the school dinners have increased to £11.25 a week each. Youngest DS was having school packed lunch but kept complaining that they didn't give him enough to eat (he's a giant child and loves food) so now I will know that he has enough. He loves salads so I had some on order from Tesco, though he wants to take beans tomorrow in his new insulated food bowl with its own little fork - it is sooo cute and my other DS wants one now as well.

    And finally;

    We bought a new TV 13 days ago from Tesco, a shiny new 50" plasma TV (the husband's choice not mine) anyway I had mislaid the receipt and needed it to get the points added to my clubcard. Could I find it - could I eck as like.

    Anyway as I was sorting through the shopping delivery last night I was putting the items for the homeless charity into bags to take to work and looked up. There it was staring at me from the shelf in the kitchen which is higher up than my line of sight. It also seemed to have been pulled out a bit so I could see it. Needless to say I got my points today so that was a nice little bit of karma :T Thank you :)

    OK big John, that's all for now!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So I'm sat watching Mr & Mrs and husband announces he wants to take sarnies to eat at work which is fine except he leaves in 5 minutes!

    Never a dull day ha-ha.

    Incessant mutterings ...:rotfl:

    Hello John

    It's been a while since we last spoke but I have some little snippets of financial news.

    I took Igamogam's advice and put 53 litres of petrol in the car, that should last me a little while. I had a voucher for 10p off a litre of fuel so £5.30 saved :T

    I have been really good with LTWing and have saved quite a bit between that, saving with vouchers and saving the odds on my bank account - speaking of which I need to look into opening something else possibly. I will have a think.

    Oh and don't forget the spending of my gorgeous husband's money instead of my own ;)

    I am finding that since stretching my pay it is helping. I'm getting paid again next week and it feels like I only got paid last week due to the streeeetch. this means that in July I should have double the amount of money I've budgeted for food and petrol :T Good idea that was even if I do say so myself :D though I am seeing this starting to creep into other posts. It won't be long before it's ripped off by some copycat elsewhere and claimed to be all their own idea. Much amusement to be had :rotfl:I don't mind as long as there's a reference.

    It does take discipline to wait the extra week though, especially when you know there's cash sat in the bank with your name on it! It isn't something everyone can do and I am lucky in that I have my lovely husband.

    Speaking of my lovely husband, I posted about him on another board saying that he looks fantastic when he's in his uniform - I just wish he wasn't so tall sometimes as I get neck ache from looking up at him :rotfl:

    OK Johnster, time to go :)

    Morning John - what a lovely day :j

    First the financial news:

    kittie shares are stable @ £5.15 per unit. Whilst the economy continues to try and weaken the kittie household due to increases in food costs the kittie shares remain good with Mr kittie having an influx of money tomorrow and the new fiscal stretching methods being employed by the household having a bolstering effect. :T

    Other news:

    I have decided to increase my income so have applied for another job. I do not expect to get an interview or anything but the practical experience of completing application forms is all good :).

    And finally:

    I have been reading other threads and have noticed an increase in the number of OP's creating AE's in order to reply to themselves. These people don't seem to realise that they have a 'tell' which is really apparent to everyone else. It is so funny and these people will eventually end up in knots by doing this.

    Ah well, there's nowt as queer as folk!

    Until we speak again, Johnny b good:)
