    :rotfl::rotfl:Oooh I am so right, it'd be hilarious if it wasn't so tragically sad :rotfl::rotfl:

    On another note, why does my lovely, fantastically yummy husband love shopping so much! We are poles apart in that respect since I hate shops and shopping.

    Never mind, I :smileyheahim really.

    alternate user names (entity, ego etc)

    A tell is a recognisable pattern of behaviour or actions someone might use to convince you that something is true when in fact it is not.

    Not sure if that helps you really lol I don't want to say too much because they will stop doing it and it's providing me with some entertainment atm.

    Hello, hello, helllllo out there :j

    Financials first;

    Woo-hoo it's a bank holiday weekend and it's payday :T:T though I am still doing the monthly stretch it just feels great to be paid even though I won't be buying food or petrol until the 14th. Actually this is going much better than I envisaged so soon I will have a full month's budget money to put to one side :money:

    Other news;

    I really don't get on with one set of my neighbours and the woman is a fruit cake. Anyone who keeps a life-sized pierot doll and a shop dummy and has sets of clothing for them is mentally ill imo, but anyway I had to giggle this morning.

    Every Sat/Sun morning she really goes to town with banging, slamming doors/windows, throwing stuff against the outside of her house etc just to be a general nuisance and to wake DH and myself up.

    Well this morning she was really going for it, hammering, banging, jumping up and down to make the house shake (these are pre-fabs so a steel joist goes through both houses) when the next thing I hear is screaming and shouting between her and her son who's in his 20's. He had apparently had enough of her 2 hours of banging about and was letting her know in no uncertain terms. I am expecting Mr Halfwit to be home later so maybe I will get another spectacle - can't wait :rotfl::rotfl:

    Finally;

    Ooo the veneer has slipped, I knew I was right :j

    Have a lovely day everyone!

    Just wanted to drop this in as I am going to have a re-read and catch-up as I haven't looked over this blog for a while.

    I know we have A girl called Jack who is all the rage but it doesn't hurt to look across the pond too.

    Thanks to whoever first posted about this, but I can't remember who it was sorry :o.

    Enjoy

    Dear John, what a beautifully sunny day :j:j

    Financials first,

    Just worked out my household profit and loss and June looks like it will be even Stevens and I have a holiday to pay for by 1st June - oh dear :p I'm sure it will all come out right in the wash, not an accounting term but perfectly applicable ( meaning I hope I don't sink :D)

    Other news;

    Bitterly disappointed by the lack of further arguments next door however the son shouting at the mother seems to have worked as I haven't heard a peep out of her. I thought I was odd but she is just plain bizarre, think Norman Bates' mother from Psycho and they could be twins :rotfl:

    Elsewhere;

    I knew it wouldn't be long before I saw the stretching creeping into it :whistle::whistle:

    I am also seeing an awful lot of new posters being berated by others. It is so easy to shout at people for being in debt but offering true help seems to be extremely difficult. Why is that? I am getting tired of "You took these debts out, it's all your own fault, blah-blah words more blah-blah"

    For goodness sake, people have debts for many different reasons not excluding the greediness of the lenders looking to make money from the interest earnt and insurance policies mis-sold so they have to share the blame.

    If credit was difficult to come by then perhaps many would not have so much personal debt, and I cannot say it enough but when whole countries are on their knees and close to bankruptcy then a bit of debt is like a grain of sand.

    Debt really is not worth stressing over. OK now I am done :T

    Enjoy the rest of this lovely day everyone :T

    Morning and how are you today? :j

    It's Bank holiday so no work - yess :D another pj day for me then, woo-hoo! I looooove my pj's.

    Not much to update on the financials since there is zero movement in the bank account due to the BH. I will update my spreadsheets and start new ones for June so I am all prepared. I will be getting a bit extra in my pay next month due to a share in the company profits - but that will form part of July. Hoping the unit prices will be OK but I suppose even an extra £20 is better than a poke in the eye. It's normally £150 so fingers crossed :)

    Both my DH and myself have applied for new jobs, not sure how that's going to go but we can live in hope. We still have jobs if not so we shall plod on regardless though if I am honest the job I've applied for is totally different to what I do now and it's probably more my cup of tea. I worked in this other area previously and only took my current job because it was more money.

    More money does not always equate to job satisfaction though ;) sometimes it is better to be poor, or at least be able to cover your basic needs with a little to save, and be happy than have lots of money and be stressed and unhappy.

    It's all a waiting game :)

    Have a great day :T

    I think I might have just figured it out - eureka :j

    People worry and feel threatened about all sorts of weird stuff with one of the main reasons being popularity - yes Watson why did I not see it before :D

    People who are not popular but want to be can come across as being a bit too pushy, a bit too clingy or just a bit too unhinged.

    Having not being a sufferer of wanting to be popular since I was about 13 years old, then it wasn't something which struck me straight away but now it has all become perfectly clear.

    Now I have that realisation I am going to go internet window shopping on the Dr Marten's website :D
