Hi debrag, I'm stepping it up to 120 credits yes. I'm going to do 2x60 point courses though so hopefully it's a bit easier than 4x 30 - that would do my head in
What courses are you doing?
I've spent the first year doing different courses so know what I enjoy and after this last social sciences course what I definitely don't! I want to do design and innovation at level 3 and environmental science at level 2 next.
I've changed so many times. Started with Molecular Science but moved on to Health & Social Care then onto Health Science but realised I'm crap at science even though I love it so I'm now basing my open degree on the Sport Fitness & Coaching degree so I can transfer credits over to that eventually. Really need to finish this degree, will be doing 2x60 credits in my finally year. I'm really stuck on my final level 3 module0 -
Perhaps you could find a course that doesn't really need prior knowledge of the subject just an ability to study at that level?
I know there are a lot of people on the FB page who are looking for courses without exams but I would fancy it for a change.
Good luck with whatever you decide on, pity the science wasn't so good especially seeing as though you enjoyed it.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -

I'm looking at social science, as they don't need level 2 modules.0 -
Good luck with that
I've just finished DD131 and hated it until I got to the end of the course when it sort of came together and made sense.
They'd broken the course content down so much that it didn't make sense iyswim. I like to know what the big picture is so I can see what I'm aiming for.
Having said that the higher level modules look more interesting and focused.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
yeah the level 3's look much better, wasn't impressed with any of the level 1's I took.0

Hello diary John how you been doing?
It's been a funny old few days, much whispering in work and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get my one wish
If this is not possible then I will be leaving late next year #newbeginnings! :j
I am hoping to have seen the last of any doctors that I need to see, started physio again so hopefully this will see me fully recovered since I am paying for it and not the insurance company, this way I am in control of the number of sessions and not them. Take the power away from themIt would be nice to settle before Christmas but I am not holding my breath.
End of course assignment was completed and sent off into the ether a day early so just a waiting game for the result to come back at the end of next month. Really hoping to pass this one as I don't want to re-sit it.
Got a cake baking in the bread maker, lovely madeira cake yum, I haven't made a cake for ages, I might make a loaf of bread later as well if I can be bothered. DS2 is nattering "is the cake done yet?" - nope another hour to go yet. I'm going to have this conversation every 5 mins I think :rotfl:
Ah well, it's all goodfeet up and cuppa time :T

Hello Diary John
Well the lunch to work is going remarkably well and there's a good groups of members :T
There isn't much to report on the work front, just playing a waiting gamehoping I will be given the go ahead for VR very soon:j
Elsewhere there is sadder news. A family member has been diagnosed with cancer and there is nothing the docs can do to remove or treat it as it's too far advanced. There is talk of an estimated survival of 3 weeks now. This could and should have been caught months ago but it wasn't.
This person has lived a stressful life all brought about by debts which is not helpful and their partner is making comments about how will they pay the mortgage now, which in fairness is probably a knee-jerk reaction to the bad news.
Make sure you have a plan B people in case the unmentionable ever happens to you :sad:Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000
