I am not reading the Boots thread anymore. I have never seen a group of such self indulged people in my life. I am sure 99% of them don't bother ready any other posts. All they are worried about is their order. When I post on there I try to give some information in my post. This has been constantly ignored by posters simply moaning their order hasn't arrived.
I know I was one of the lucky ones, who got their order today, but there is a lot of snow out there. If my order had been delayed, I would have understood.
They are all ringing up and complaining. I a sure some of them want free points for their inconvenience.

I would be upset if I didn't get my order, but honestly some of them are acting like the world has ended.

:rotfl: Well that's my moan for the evening. Still no snow here. Not even that cold. We have no heating on at the moment. Hope everyone has a good evening. Sorry for the rant.

It is the weirdest thing to be reading all your news from here! Christmas seems such a very long time ago and the weather. DD sent a picture of my garden a couple of hours ago unbelievable! When we've spent the day on the beach (hardly like to mention)

DGD had learnt a song. Imagine to the tune of Mama Mia

    Nana Mia
I'm pleased to see you here
    My Nana
    How I have missed you

    Nana Mia
It's good to have you here
    My Nana
    How could I forget you

Tears oh yes plenty, she sings it regularly. She will be busy getting on with something and just stop and say "love you Nan" or "thanks for coming to my holiday house" or "I'm having such fun" That's our first week gone its flown by.

:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake: for the birthdays I've missed. Hope you've all had a good day.

Aaw thanks lovelies it still doesn't seem real, feel like I'm dreaming and gonna wake up and it'll all be gone.

Freespirit grandchildren are the most wonderfully precious things :) I hope that you get the pleasure one day and that they aren't whisked away to the other side of the world!

I kno I'm here and having the most wonderful time but I'm missing my daily fix of you lovelies, plus my DD and her family and my beloved DSiL who is continuing to improve and has taken a few steps this week with the aid of a Zimmer frame :) We are currently waiting for her to be fit enough medically to be transferred to a rehabilitation unit :) xxx

That sounds very promising Nana :) I'm keeping it all crossed!

Well I have a wonderful afternoon tea to attend this afternoon. I was given a voucher for this place several years ago (no expiry date) does anyone know if it will still be valid? I really want to be as MSE as possible today as had to waste a lot of petrol yesterday rescuing my friend in the snow :rotfl:

You could either present it under the premise that it should still be valid, or you could call them beforehand to find out. Have a lovely time.

  • Nanamia wonderful news that your SIL is up on her feet :) and how gorgeous is your grandaughter - sounds like she's enjoying her nana's visit very much :) heard on the news that sydney was having a heatwave, hottest recorded date yesterday! Quite different from our big freeze - lucky you :)

Hope everyone is snuggled up warm - my lil family are all hibernating this weekend with hot choc and DVD's. Oh how I love snowdays :)
