PetuliaGristle-Hope your cat recovers soon, poor little thing! x
Feisty-Glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea and it was very mse!
nic2075-So glad the move went well and the kids have settled.
bunbun2-I have been eyeing up the 50th anniversary stuff but some of it is a bit odd. Silver Tardis teapot anyone? :rotfl:Im hoping they will do a 50th anniversary event somewhere! David Tennant and several of the other Doctors/companions were at a convention in a hotel here on Saturday, I was so gutted as I only found out 2 days before and the tickets were all sold out!Nothing Dr Who ever happens so close to home! (about 10 mins away!) But then I saw tickets were £100 each and I felt a bit better. :rotfl:
Nanamia-Its fabulous to hear of your DSILs great progress.Your DGD is so sweet bless her! What a lovely pic of the beach!
We'v had more snow here today! Wonder if there'll be school tomorrow, hope not.I have to go to my sisters tomorrow so hopefully the roads are clear, the main roads were clear yesterday but the side roads were like an ice rink!

We finally have snow. Yes i now to be on this thread I should be :j:j:j:j:j. But I am :(:(. Sorry I just don't like it. It makes getting to work sooooooooooo hard, as I have to drive over open country side.(Non gritted roads). If it keeps up I will have to take tomorrow off. Dd is hoping school is shut tomorrow, as we live so close it is the only way she will get a day off.
To me, snow is lovely when you have nowhere to go for days, and you can batten down the hatches, not when you have to get to work.
I would love snow from the 23rd Dec - 27th, at that's it.:rotfl:
Have spent the whole morning trying to re-organise my bedroom, to get the latest Christmas presents in there. As you know I am in the loft, so I have loads of floor space but very little height.
It feels quite strange putting presents away in the snow, surely I should be getting them out to wrap.
Well this is getting nothing done, so off I must go.:(:( Only I have sat down now, and the snooker is on, and I don't want to go back up there. :rotfl:0 -
Sure? Louise cos I did worry a little about posting the picture when it's so cold in the uk. I hate show offs:(The secret of Christmas

nothing like a free tea is there feistyglad you had fun.
Had a walk up town today, was starting to get closet fever lol spent £34 when i only should have spent about £4 oops but its given us a good weeks worth of meals.. got a huge piece of pork which im roasting atm, for £7, we'll have roast today and hot roast pork sarnies tomorrow.. the rest i'll put in the freezer for another roast and bbq sauce pork another day. so good bargain if it stretches that far..
Just ordered 3 baylis and harding sets from debenhams with an extra 10% off and free delivery.. not sure i can put codes on here though? were £10 originally reduced down to £3 and i got them for £2.70 each so nearly 75% off. those will do as lil extras for a couple of people or bday pressies.
Done my meal list for the week but still not sorted out my freezer, something i need todo this week.Totally debt free wohooo 2014

Nanamia- so jealous but do post photos of the lovely sunshine as I have forgotten what it looks like. Quite a relaxing pic as well. Glad to hear you dsil is doing well.
Omo- all the main streets here are just a massive slush fest. Around the houses its proper snow and looks lovely, but I work in town and its just a massive horrible wet mess.
Sorry to hear of all the unwell pets.
nic- glad the move went OK
Hope everyone else is doing OK xx13 projects in 2013 0/130 -
Nanamia it looks soooo beautiful! please post more of them, Id rather look at that and look forward to summer than look out my window! xx ps you could never be show off-ey! *prods you gently* xxx
OMO Im the same as you, I dont enjoy snow unless its Christmas Eve to Boxing Day! hate driving in it because so many people drive right up the back close to you when you try and drive carefully and slowly when you arent sure how slippery it is, always bothers me! DS hoping school closed, they just posted on Twitter that they will be open unless they post anything to the contrary on there and their website ... hes hoping it will snow more!
PinknFluffy that sounds great! am up to 9.75 payable on VO, always the last 25p that goes slow!
msgigglewick I love Bayliss and Harding stuff, will have a look! I ordered a load of new towels 70% off from them with free delivery, they are beautiful quality and the delivery was super quick, our towels so old and ratty its lovely to have new ones!0 -
