Snugglebunny8 wrote: »princesskitty I love the Chocomania range at Body Shop, its gorgeous, scented like chocolate truffle, the lip balm is fantastic as is the body wash and butter.
Oooh thanks snugglebunny I didn't even know they did this range! I will have a look out for it.
As for driving in the snow, that's what worries me so much, it doesn't matter how carefully you drive you can't control what other people are doing! Actually, that's the case all the time not just when it snows! But I think things are more likely to happen when it snows though, as you can't always see ice etc and people think they can do more than they can.0 -
ty snugglebunny. means alot to know im not alone. Just want to scream at some people at time... "just stop it!" but we all know they'd just see it as an excuse to argue lol..
Enough about all that its depressing.

Thanks msgigglewick - think i'm going to have to go on a chocolate toiletries shopping expedition!
Talking of chocolate, we have LOADS left too, but some of that was my own doing! My OH loves Cadburys chocolate, and normally I buy him a couple of bits at Christmas, but this year I had a 'brainwave' to make him a chocolate hamper and I got a bit carried away! I also underestimated how much we'd be given by other people, so our treats cupboard is looking a bit full at the moment!0 -
dotcomgiftshop have a sale on christmas items
http://www.dotcomgiftshop.com/christmas-decorations-sale?all=1
we have booked to see the Harry Potter tour for dd's 16th in April and ive started ordering her birthday gifts.
Take spare batteries for the camera. In fact take 2 cameras and every phone with a camera. You will take 10000's of pics. Don't bother with getting more of the ear thingy when you get there. Its a waste of a £5. I found it very distracting.
Mind you I had had kidney stones the day before, and only just got out of hospital in time to have a shower, dress and go.
Don't think you have to go round the way the map says. I would go straight to the picture booth. The queue will be shorter. If you go with the map, everyone on your tour will get there at the same time. The pictures are £5 each or 5 for £20 (I think, if I'm wrong it is only by £1).
Take something to eat with you. Half way round you go outside and there are seats with a sandwich bar, that is VERY dear. You can also get Butterbeer there.
The shop is dear, but the stuff is nice. I got Dd some Gryffindor gloves there for Xmas £15  (We went in July)
If you need any more info just let me know. And if you knew all this already - sorry.0 -
:wave:Hi guys, haven't been around for a while and thought I would try to catch up, but can't seem to manage it.
Hope everyone is ok, Nanamia - great picture and so pleased you are having such a lovely time.
We had some snow on Friday, but nothing since, DD school never ever closes, I'm sure the Head Teacher must sleep there is snow is forcast!
Have been doing lots of crafty things with the kiddies, taught DD1 to sew, she has made a little toy out of material scraps, she is so proud and I think it is possibly the lovliest thing I have ever seen.
Completely missed the Boots 75% off sale, normally book day off work and pop to large boots in next town, but for some reason forgot all about it, so stocking fillers will be severely down this year, will have to try much harder running up to Xmas.
Take care all, stay warm and well x0 -
Oh own my own thanks for the text, I read it and yes, rather heated to say the least. I can see a lynch mob heading that way!
All the snow has left here thank goodness and just starting to get organised with things. DS having his legs sorted tomorrow so we've made our back room into a temporary bedroom for him.
Going to have a good old sort through the freezer later and see how many meals can be made up. Not done a big shop since before Christmas, just living out of the freezer and buying fresh bits. Managed to save some pennies by doing it which is quite exciting. I plan to be organised by next week .........0 -

I hope you're all well and 2013 is being kind to you so far. I'm sorry if it's not and i've missed anything, and sending you some hugs. I have tried to get some sort of list going for Christmas this year, although as i'm getting married in March that is taking priority somewhat! I did buy a few things in the sales but to be honest I didn't have much motivation to get to the shops this year, usually I love having a mooch around in the sales! I have decided to do my one friend a chocolate hamper as she loves it, and I have 'The Chocolate Lovers Diet' book for it so far, so I need to get the other one to go with it. I do remember last year on Let It Snow some people talked about chocolate scented toiletries, can you remind me of where you found them?
Sorry, i'm sure you guys have all chatted already about your plans for this Christmas!
Can't steal credit for this as it's OMO's suggestion, but I made chocolate lip gloss by mixing vaseline with cocoa and putting in pretty lipgloss compacts from ebay HTH
I did the studio tour last October and loved it! You can check out my blog post review, but be warned lots of photo's so could spoil it a bit.[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
