I did sausage and lentil hot pot in mine and served it with rice. Sausages, red and green lentils, onion, carrots and lots and lots of worcestershire sauce.

    Was delish!

My small one is going to have an Oxtail stew in it tomorrow - I have the beans on to soak overnight and in the morning I will add a slightly sad leek which is languishing in the fridge, carrot, onion and potato. Possibly some more veg depending what I find when I stage a raid on the fridge. Oh, and the oxtail. Forgetting that could make the results interesting....

I roasted a shoulder of lamb sunday and was going to put the leftovers in the slow cooker at lunchtime today with the liquidised roast veggies to make a kind ragu ala Jamie O ( in his book Jamie's Dinners) would this be ok on high if I did it at 1.30 and we eat at 6? I've never put cooked stuff in before so don't know if it will be too long.... PLEASE ADVISE O SLOW COOK GURU'S!!

Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning
