Tesco Clubcard fraud - online vouchers stolen
Comments

I checked my account yesterday to find my voucher balance 0.50p  then checked used vouchers and someone had used £78.50 worth of vouchers in Lakeside Extra on Sunday, was on the phone for quite a while and have been told that they will be re-issued but very worrying0

Have they said they'll re-imburse you? The lady I spoke to said the store shouldn't have accepted the voucher without seeing a clubcard.0 -

There's an option for re-printing an temporary card on the Clubcard website, which seems to be what these fraudsters are doing.
How they know the passwords for the accounts is another question entirely, a lot of people here have said they have a Tesco specific password which could indicate that there's a breach somewhere in Tesco and it's and inside job, it's certainly on a large enough scale to be.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Very worrying reading
I've now changed my Tesco password but am shocked at their character restrictions - 10 digits max, numbers and letters only
... and I've still to receive an email to tell me that my password has been changed - surely that is the most basic of security checks?!!!0 -

Maybe the password change notification email has gone to the scammer's email address.0 -
Just checked my clubcard account and my vouchers have also been stolen! Have changed my password which is now supposedly 'strong'! Contacted Clubcard and waiting a callback. Vouchers spent in Greater London - l was in Dorset!0

all they have to do is stop printing at home the clubcard and vouchers, such an easy thing to stop0

ARGGHHHH back to square one .... suprise suprise my vouchers were NOT reissued in this August statement.
i just been on the phone 20 mins to tesco and now been accused of using the vouchers or giving someone my keyfob and no way can you print out a clubcard to use with the printed vouchers ( so customer service told me )
asked to be put through to investigations as it was them that told me i would be re issued this month ... and now been told they have been added again to my account should show by Wednesday as points ... but i wont be able to spend them till November.
i will be writting a letter to ceo and tesco head office as well for all the stress this has caused me0 -

All that would do is generate even more stress which it seems you may well find difficult to handle.
Waiting patiently until November must be the less stressful option.0
