After I lost the first lot of vouchers, I changed my password to something unique to my Tesco Clubcard account. I do not use it for anything else I do. They still got in to my account! To change my email address is just not practical and I think it is up to Tesco to stop the fraud by discontinuing the printing off of vouchers facility. When I said this to the person I spoke to at Tesco, he replied that they have to do what the customer wants i.e. print off vouchers! Surely this is the only way to stop this fraud ?

phone them in the morning or email then with your details

the rougues seem to be doing the rounds ..Birmingham, London , Aylesham etc

Did they change the main clubcard holder's name on your account

im still waiting on written correspondence from tesco to as why they could access my person account details and change them without letting me know

i was lucky i changed some of my vouchers earlier in april for our Blackpool holiday in a few weeks or it would have ruined our holiday re days out pleasure beach, tower and zoo

but they still maanged to get the rest that i was saving for the rest of the school holidays

Tesco are not saying anything other than they accept you didnt use the vouchers .. but they told me that i can't get them re issued till august

No all my details are still okay. I think that once Tesco realise how much money they have lost they will have to change the system. It seems as though this scam is bigger than they thought.
    I will call them tomorrow.

Not really. Postman can still nick them and use them. They need to make it so they can only be used witH the clubcard number linked!!

My stolen ones were supposedly used with the linked Clubcard (which was a card I had never used and still had in my possession, still stuck to the letter on which it came. I only use my credit card, which has a different clubcard linked to it.) As these thefts must be some sort of inside job, there are ways for the culprits to get CCs as well as vouchers.

    Hi Heartherks,

I can assure you that your supermarket login details are perfectly secure with us. I am little unfamiliar with the Tesco clubcard promotion. Do they send you these vouchers via the post.

    Kind Regards

Just an update on my issue; I rang Tesco this morning and it appears that although two of the vouchers had been cashed the third was proving difficult and kept being rejected.
Tesco were very helpful, they re credited my account with the points and have now ordered them for me.

I'll give you all ONE GUESS as to how my data found its way from the Tesco Clubcard linked Credit Card to Jakata in Indonesia and into the hands of a nasty little fraudster?

Make a Google Search and use "Simon Bunce Sun" and read the article that was published by The Sun newspaper. I can't paste the link because I am a new user to this forum.

This was NOT funny and the consequences are life changing - 300 people died because of this, but I said "this is wrong" and I went on the TV, live on BBC Breakfast News on 12 May 2008 to say that. I have met Susanna Reed and she is lovely (see UTUBE). Why do the MOD think I am a liar? I am not - well, not when it is important! No, officer, I was only doing 69 mph, your radar gun must be on the blink...ahahhahahahahaha.

Read this a WEEP for me and the other dead innocent victims of ID fraud. If you like this tell you friends, if you don't, tell me!

    Regards

That is a shocking and tragic thing to happen, although it is now in the past you will never forget such a terrible character assassination. So sad for you.
