thanks for the updatebut i noticed it says .. Tesco adds it will reimburse stolen vouchers as quickly as possible and it will ensure anyone who wants to take part in the current Clubcard Exchange, which runs until 2 July, can do so.
i was told twice i couldn't get my stolen vouchers back till next mailing in August..
too late to tranfer some of them for the Scottish school holiday which start in a few weeks0 -
I've only just been alerted to this through a tweet from MSE. About £70 of vouchers have been taken from my account. Tesco were very helpful and said they could see I hadn't used the vouchers myself and would ring me back. I am trying to change my password on my clubcard account but can't see a 'change password' option. Can anyone help please?
Ignore that, I've found the answer.
I hope everyone gets reimbursed ok. I only use the rewards by cashing in the vouchers online so I still have actual possession of the 'stolen' ones. In that sense I can prove I haven't used them which makes life easy.
If the fake name that has been entered on your account matches the name used on other compromised accounts, Tesco would have a hard job insisting you had used them yourself I would imagine.0 -
did anyone that had their clubcard accounts targeted ..sign up for clicksnap ... teh voucher thefts seem to be from round about the time tesco started to allow you to print your own vouchers out and the cashback companies started to give you money back for giving details of your recepts // store email accounts to clicksnap
although reports i read last night said tesco were told about how easy it was to bypass their so called security system and get account details last september !!!
As reported back in August 2012
The UK's data privacy watchdog is examining the security of Tesco's website after a string of experts highlighted concerns.
Specialists have criticised the way in which the global supermarket chain stores the passwords of shoppers on Tesco.com.
One expert told the BBC he had warned Tesco about other serious issues which he has not made public because of their sensitive nature.
Tesco said its security was "robust".

Is anyone else struggling to change their password on the Tesco website? I've just found my vouchers have been stolen and have tried to change my password but just keep getting a message saying that passwords must be between 6-10 characters long - which my new password is. Frustrating.0

just out of curiosity, of those people unfortunate to have their vouchers stolen are you signed up for quidco clicksnap online?
its just the other day i was asking why they needed your password for your supermarket accounts as no one should ever give out passwords for anything
now reading your comments i was just wondering if anyone here does any cashback online for supermarkets where they've asked for passwords? (as opposed to instore)0 -

Just checked my Tesco clubcard account and my vouchers are missing, stolen I guess. I will email Tescos as I have yet to receive any communication from them.
Where do I change my password in the clubcard section?
Thanks in advance.
