Tesco Clubcard fraud - online vouchers stolen

Tesco departments do not communicate and never ring you back, i found this out the hard way. Clubcard can not make notes on their system as to who called when and why but customer services can and do but they can not see each others systems apparently  waste of time and space all of them. Email ceo.customerservice@tesco.co.uk they are aware of the issue, then at least you have it all documented.
quote from my correspondence today
Previously, when your concerns were brought to our attention, we were unaware of any other similar complaints and there was little to suggest that there was a deliberate attempt to use your vouchers fraudulently. Rather, it appeared as though a technical error had occurred and lead to your vouchers being redeemed by a third party.
However, we recently became aware that a number of customers have had similar experiences and this is something we find to be very concerning. Please be assured that we have launched a thorough investigation and the matter has been referred to the police. Currently I am unable to add anything further, but we will cooperate with the police investigation and ensure that any affected customers are fully reimbursed.

I cannot see how Tesco can maintain that fewer than 100 customers are affected..0

The other day I could not log in (incorrect password). I am 100% certain my login details were correct, so I reset my password and my paltry amount of vouchers are still there.
I would guess that a list of username/passwords has been leaked/sold. The scenarios where vouchers have been spent seem to be manifesting themselves in different ways.
Also, odd how this seems to have happened just as the last clubcard mailing finished.0 -
I could not log on to my tesco.com account in November last year. I followed the forgotten my password link and when I accessed my account it was in a different name and address. I then noticed that my clubcard voucher balance was zero when it should have been over £200. I have spent hours writing and speaking to Tesco Customer Services whose service has been appalling. I have been accused of being careless (not disposing of my vouchers correctly) and made out to be a liar. I have all my vouchers and can only conclude that someone has printed off my vouchers and used them in a store. They were all used on the same day in the same store - Yeadon Extra. I live in the north of England and have never visited or heard of this store. One of my vouchers was used with a clubcard and Tesco told me that I must have used it. This clubcard is in a drawer in my house and as never been used as I have a Tesco credit card and use that as my clubcard. All the others were used without a card which is not supposed to be allowed to happen- apparently this could have been a faulty self service till!!
If Tesco have been able to say which vouchers have been used with clubcards and which haven't surely they would be able to trace more information for example which till was used and who was logged onto it. I would also expect they would be able to trace what has been purchased.
I am just pleased that something now appears to happening about this serious problem. As well as loosing out financially I have been concerned that Tesco don't seem to have been bothered by the fact that computer system has failed and allowed someone to access my personal details.0 -
Thanks for the warning.
Checked account and it's OK.
Changed password just in case.
Either
A. Bulk account data stolen from Tesco
or
B. People have clicked on a scam mail
Lets hope they are closing the stable door now.0 -
Thanks to Martins letter today, I have checked my account this afternoon,to find I can't get into my account.
There is a different email address.
Contacted club card services, they didn't have a clue,he had not had a call like mine,so checked my account and he went quiet.
Sure enough all my vouchers had been used, and on the same day.
I asked him how could that happen, what details are safe now, he didn't have a clue.
His answer was the team involved will contact you within 24hrs.
He said they should be replaced.
I have not clicked on any letters,if I get any I must admit,I always delete them from Tescos,just I case they are scammers.have a nice day0 -

Still waiting for them to accept that I didn't spend these vouchers.0 -
