For me... music to my ears (or taste buds!)

For him... cousins cousins and rice salad go down like a lead balloon! Pasta salad is possible but probably not often. I'd have more luck with hot meals like chilli, curry etc, that he could have with a roll, or in pitas. He's a pita sometimes lol ;) tbh I consider it a good day if he only takes 1 bag of crisps with him and doesn't buy a bottle of pop.

I've never though about taking family members to work for lunch for a change :rotfl: (Sorry coldcazzie couldn't resist)

8 days of lunch taken to work, very boring as consisted of ham wraps with either chutney, cranberry sauce, chilli jam. Can you tell I'm trying to empty the fridge

  • Hi Cazzie, not sure whether he likes muesli, but I always have this for breakfast at work. I mix it with some natural yogurt and a bit of chopped fruit or berries the night before - really easy and it's yummy.

Why not? I mean is it the taste or soggy texture? I don't like muesli but love a crunchy cereal with Greek fat free yogurt and fruit for brekkie. Nom nom nom :T.

Only 3 days in office for me. Brekkie & lunch taken in each day, freezer cough ups for lunch :T.

Never asked tbh. I asked yesterday if he was interested in a food flask... he said he wasn't sure. *sigh*

found you... I'd been tarting on the DFW packed lunch thread :p

managed 5/5 this week.. Aim is to manage every working day up to Feb half term. Lunch in school canteen costs £3 and is rarely much better than edible. I eat much better and enjoy it more when I take my own.

5/5 For me last week. I did underestimate how hungry I would be after stretching my stomach for the whole of the Christmas holidays, but small extras like cuppa soups and the odd bag of crisps still left me under budget.
  • New week everyone - good luck to all.

Today we both have HM Soup and Pate on Toast for lunch. I have HM Lentil & Bacon and DH has HM Potato, Leek & Butternut Squash.

The pate was LO from Christmas and hadn't been opened, but should be used by tomorrow - sounds nice - its Chicken & Chorizo.

I also have banana, satsuma & natural yoghurt.

Porridge had at work this morning - just what you need when its snowy outside.
