received a response from Littlewoods today thanking me for my letter i sent them seven weeks ago, telling me they will investigate and come back with a response within 28 days. the letter was only a few lines long, does it really take seven weeks to tell me that, mmmmmmmmmmmmTrinidad - I have a number of needs. I received a call from the CEO office concerning my complaint. was asked how much money i had paid in phone calls to the customer service line, off the top of my head, i said ten pounds and was told i would be sent a thirty pounds cheque in the next seven days, which included ten pound calls, what a result, it just shows, it can pay to complain, but i still wont deal/recommend littlewoods again.Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

Someone was probably having a laugh on your expense.
The CEO phoning you up???? ? ??
There was a guy on here once who said that the CEO of Tesco phoned him up and offered a refund.0 -

I know you like a laugh DS but it was the "CEO office" which was said to have called. That could be anyone working for the company - except the CEO, probably!0 -
Even so.....
The big shots arent going to give a fig are they about a paltry cheque. SOmeone from the ceo's office will have to collate the details - collect the original order history and forward this down the line to the measly minion sucking on a headset in customer services.
The measly peseant in customer services swallowing her/his telephone headset amongst all the other screaming whinging consumer junkies0 -
Maybe the complaint section is in the CEO division?? ut anyhow, they have not responded, which is the real issueTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

Have you considered calling them? What with all the postal problems your letter could be delayed or lost. You've admitted they've offered you three times what you actually spent on calls so you're still in 'profit' if you call them again.0
