Or at least check how big it is first!

If I'm out the parceforce guy takes the parcel to my mother's house and asks if she thinks I'd like it delivered there, it's about 5 minutes drive away. This is due to a big cockup they made a few years ago, and he doesn't want to risk loosing one of my parcels again :D

my next door neighbour took a 68kg trampoline for me a few weeks ago. I'd do the same for him, or anyone on my close.

mind you, we're oop north, we're friendly round here.

its now day two, and the large packaging is driving me insane!! I have looked on the side of the boxes this evening and notived inface it is a bed frame, very, very large, cumbersome and something i dont want. I know many of you have mentioned getting back to the delivery company, but i dont have any details of them. I only have a advise note from littlewoods, with no address. in regards to knocking on the address, i dont feel comfortable with that. the guy i spoke to would not even open his door, oddly enough he was standing behind the door when i approached his pathway, he was wearing a hoodie and i notice no carpet, so maybe he just moved in.

I think leaving it in the front garden sounds good, will tell the cuustomer service lady tomorrow evening, but will ask for some littlewoods vouchers first, and yes, i will never be accepting parcels again

When a delivery driver asks for your sig, just scribble. They don't care, and there's no further comeback on you - lol

I think it's Littlewoods fault, and the delivery company they use. My neighbour constantly orders from them and isnt home during the day - I have accepted 5 packages on her behalf and its getting very irritating. The delivery man is tricky too, he will ring me on my buzzer (I live in a block of flats) and say he's got a delivery for me. When he reaches my door he will act all confused and say oh its says flat xx - actually they arent in would you mind taking the delivery in? He's done this twice. I try and be a good neighbour but next time I'm thinking of not accepting her goods. If she wants things delivered to her address she needs to be home to accept them - but its hard to say no when the deliveryman is standing at your door.

very true terf, but worse, i have only lived in my house for six months, and i dont even know the lady whose large package I have. There are two flat packageges, standing 6.5ft tall, by, 3ft wide, and some form of poling, also around six ft long, its at the bommtom of my stairs, and driving me insance. littlewoods are expected to call this evening (7pm) lets hope they do. I told them of the problem on monday.

We always accept parcels for neighbours, but then again we've lived in this street since I was 6 months old, know all the neighbours, so never have any problems. I don't know if I'd be so keen to accept parcels for people I don't know though.
