Morning all

Hello
Just popping on quickly to say hi and that I haven't disappeared - just been very busy at work and not quite so focused on weight loss or finances. Head-in-sand moment I guess as had to get new car battery plus various expenses for dd and some lack of budgeting has resulted on stuff going on cc again
...but I have just updated my spreadsheets... (You are so right about the benefits of doing this HH) and now feeling a bit more positive - need to keep my eye on the prize! Just hard when such a long journey ahead. I am not on a dmp (can't remember who asked) as we meet the minimum payments and if we budgeted in theory should be able to clear the debts by snowballing.
Anyhoo - this quick update is fast becoming a longer one and I really need to get off my bum and get dressed! Will read through thread I have missed and be back soon
I have updated my sig (lost 30 of my 98lb - so getting there :j and dfd is still Dec 2017)
Inspired by you all xxx.0 -
Morning All
Well done Flumpkins.
I had a few days off plan and gained 9lb!!!!! Good news is I lost that and a 1lb more so 10lb in total this week. Total weight loss 1stone 4lb and 10 inches lost.
HHx0 -
Wow HH - that inch loss is great - should have taken my measurements... have definitely gone down a clothes size (or two).
I am struggling weightwise at the minute ...over last few weeks I have lost 0.5, gained 2lb, and just lost 0.5 again tonight... I guess that it is a journey though... I keep going to class as know that without it I would gain an awful lot more.
Not sure why finding it so hard at the mo... just too many nice things to nibble on. I haven't indulged in big blow outs... just sneaked bits from others, had alcohol I have not counted and it all adds up.
Hopefully will get my head back in the game soon....
Fab news on your M&S btw :T
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine

Hi, I signed up for this challenge at the start of the year but haven't really posted much. However, I have just popped on to have a quick boast!
My scales don't work and I am too poor/tight to buy new ones so unfortunately I can't say exactly how many lb's I have lost, but I think over half a stone. WHICH MEANS - I am now down to my target weight!! Not that I actually know what my weight is, but I am now comfortably wearing the size 10 clothes that I haven't been able to squeeze into for approx five years.
I managed it by setting myself a 50 day healthy eating challenge. Today is day 49 so technically it ends tomorrow. My husband has been off work due to an operation, and he's a bit of a chubster so I knew he would pile the weight on if he was left in a house full of comfort-food while I'm at work. So I made sure there was plenty of low fat, low sugar food in the house but nothing unhealthy or 'treaty'. I've taken healthy food to work for myself and deliberately left my purse at home!
Now I just need to keep going, but can afford to relax a little bit and have the occasional treat.
I realise that this challenge was to lose both lb's and £'s and unfortunately I'm not on-target with the £'s, but hey, it's a start!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,3320 -

Hi
How are you all getting on?
Ive lost 6lb this week, woop woop. Makes total 1st 12lb. Another 1.4 inch loss total 20.4 inches. Funny thing is the week before I only lost 2lb yet 9 inches, this time 6lb yet only 1.4 inch. Weird!!!!!
2 HH - Loss for June = 8lb, total loss in 2013 = I stone 12lb, £1's lost in 2013 = £10 703
Good luck all. x0 -
Fabulous HH - well done!! And congratulations HappyNow. You must feel amazing.
You are doing brilliantly HH....How much do you want to lose in total? If not too nosey ;-)
I managed to find another 1/2lb last week... but have written everything down this week so hopefully will have a better result on the scales on Weds, time will tell. Writing it down has helped I think as made me more aware of what extras I had been eating... apparently things you eat standing up in the kitchen, or without a plate or off someone else's plate aren't actually free :rotfl:Who knew?

Everyone is doing so well!
I keep on complaining that my loss is slow, but I guess the main thing is to stick at it - just updating my sig I realised that I have lost a total of 1st 4lbs, so not too shoddy all in all, if I had given up it would be all back on now!
Went clothes shopping yesterday and managed to just squeeze into a pair of size 12 trousers which I purchased - that should spur me on to have more room in them by the time we go on holiday in 5 1/2 weeks!! Haven't been in size 12 for 15 years!!!
fingers crossed lol :rotfl:
Have a good week everyone,
Pennies xx :ALBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £17,020.38
