We have discovered we only have 3 cheap wine glasses. A trip to ikea is on the cards for tomorrow.

Where has this week gone? The kids break up tomorrow and I still have so much to do.

I need to go to bed. I'm being pushed into a corner of the sofa by the cat.

    Goodnight everyone x
  • Mumto5 - my young cat was pushing me back on the sofa earlier! He is so strong that when he stretches (he likes his front paws each side of your neck) he pins you down - like a lion I suppose (never having been pinned down by a lion!!!).

I'm just in my bed now, bliss! Have packed, put out cats' food ready for next two days for sitter, washed up, cleaned kitchen and generally tidied up, got rubbish etc ready to out out in am, so tomorrow it's just breakfast, walk neighbour's dogs, tidy again and off to Gloucester. We are meeting my lovely daughter, which I'm so looking forward to. She is just like me, in looks and everything and we get on so well, I am very lucky. I've seen less of her this year, due to various reasons, but this will give me a chance to spoil her!!!

Good vibes all round and here's to a good weekend for everybody. Love, R x

    Morning All

Have a lovely weekend Rowan Tree.

First job this morning is to strip our bed and stick the bedding in the WM. I might do a HHC in the BR while I'm at it. If the kids are up early enough then we're nipping to Mr As as DD wants to get a present for her boyfriend! Otherwise it's tough!

I'll have a quick look at the lists which I've hardly done anything on then make a start. At least this is the last day at work for me.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Last carol concert at the primary school for me tomorrow after 12 years.

Have you plenty of tissues - my friend and I wept and wept at both the last carol concert and the last leavers' assembly :)

Linda, eat a frog is do a job you have been putting off! There used to be a link about it that explains it better, something to do with forcing yourself to do unpalatable tasks.
