    Happy Yule to the Wolfies.

Carol done. Ebay ordered placed to replace the grotty item from the other selling (that will be pursued).

Cuppa now and write my food lists and then off to Mr M and Mr L. Mr W will see me tonight when I take DS2 to work.

They are in the oven (kids hungry) and have splatted but smell great. Think the mix was a little wet. Will not mix egg in next time and just use to coat.

Gingerbread house is cooked but not assembled. Want it to dry thoroughly.

    Morning - just

Finishing my coffee break then back to sorting washing while DH has gone to dentist. Then it will be off to town to meet a friend for a lunchtime drink in the hope that it wont turn into a session! I might get DH present while we are there then thats me finished. Dont really want to go out as waiting for my WG christmas delivery and the drivers are authorised they can leave the parcels outside if noone at home. Thats fine but not if you live on a main road near to the centre of town. Fingers crossed. This evening I will sort the foods required so that I can drag DH out early tomorrow to get it finished. I will then have at least 2 full days of chilling and doing what I want.

    Back to work but first

Dusty and Mumto5 hope you both have better days today
Mr and Mrs LW I hope you enjoy your special day.
To all those poorly get well vibes on their way

    Bye for now
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • DD2 taken to University Campus Suffolk in Ipswich today - had a jolly good look round.....most of where DD2 studying is located in one 7 storey building -so I was up and down flights of stairs like no tomorrow, had a good look round accommodation block too....very impressed....met course tutor and once DD2 was at ease with him she was chatting away like a good'un, which is just aswell as I could have quite cheerfully wished a hole to open up in the ground for me to jump into at that point as my "Brave Face" was all used up by that point.

DD1 is at UCS in Ipswich. She has spent 2 years at Athena Hall, but now has her own flat. She is staying on next year, but not sure where she is going to live

Shower scrubbed after I got out of it this morning. I also cleaned the sink (even cleaned the yucky plughole with a toothbrush!) and cleaned the toilet. Still need to do the downstairs toilet & basin, and the bath.

I have also decluttered some hair at the hairdressers. it has only been 5 months since the last haircut!

DH is making a cuppa, & I am going to take some toys to the Summerhouse, as the sun is shining :) No hellfire & brimstone here yet :p

YULETIDE BLESSINGS to all, especially LW & Mr LW

Ok - must do something now before the school run at 1.30 :o Where's my list?

    Afternoon all

All the bedrooms done today, and three loads of washing. I've put the bedding out on the line for a blow but it's not really drying. The rest is draped round indoors.

Ironed my Christmas tablecloth and put it on a hanger in the little bedroom ready for next week.

Went to shopping centre to buy a fitted bed sheet after checking my spare bedding for next week. Plenty of duvet covers and pillow cases but very sparse on sheets.

Bird table cleaned and all brushed round and refilled. It's a lovely sunny day.

    Happy Yule LW.

Hope today is better for you Dusty.

Back from town. M&S had no large pieces of stilton but Mr T came up trumps. Not a bread roll to be seen in there though. Refilled my freshly cleaned fridge and thanks Pollybear for reminding me to sort Christmas tablecloth. Going to iron it and then have a final clean/tidy of the dining room. all meals to be eaten in the kitchen until Tuesday!

Anyway, dinner on then I'll get flying. Tonight's list:
    - last few e-cards
    - final check of presents i.e. who or what have we forgotten?
    - blitz on office so fit to be a spare bedroom for BIL
    - final plan of action for tomorrow (after gym)

Hope all sickies feeling a bit better; I'm still a bit snuffly and could do with an early night (no chance) but I do feel better than yesterday. All I really need is another week before Christmas......

Hmmm......did all except finish the blitz. Final plan of action for "tomorrow" i.e. today went a bit pear shaped. Plan was gym class x 2, meet e-bayer to collect purchase, shop on way home then finish house blitz.

Actual process: just getting into car when noticed text from sick friend asking if I could go round before Monday as she needs further and unexpected treatment. Would do anything for my friends, but brain went eeeek - house in mess, lots to do and less than 24hrs before 1st visitor arrives. Txt her that I would ring her at lunch time. Got to gym; 2nd class cancelled which left just over an hour's precious time to wait for e-bayer. Flapped, considered walking to Mr T but reports of mayhem so concerned I wouldn't make it back in time. Settled for calming cappuccino to gather thoughts.

Now, phone call calmed friend who doesn't need me to go round; stopped at local Co-*p on way home and got quite a few bargains including flowers to decorate church which needs to be done tomorrow. With any luck I will be able to arrange them tonight and just carry them there tomorrow. I wouldn't say I'm clawing back the time I need, but things are improving.

    HH blitz starting right now.
