  • hi all... sorry but decembers spends has flown out of the window and is currently heading south....... i know I over spent, but no idea how much... in my defence we moved house, hubby forgot to unpack the freezer stuff and some defrosted, I was getting my head glued together after a silly hoovering accident, and trying to stand up under a shelf on the wall... result= hole in head and blood gushing down face,, got me out of the last of the packing and cleaning though.....
anyway all ok now.... just need to rein in the spending , so going for £180 this month, trying a differnt tack, taken out the spends in cash, hiden the plastic and only taking cash. at the end of the shopping, returning all change to the jar,and trying to plan every shopping trip to co incide with work day,
along with meal planning , I hope to do so much better this month.....

I spent £8.96 yesterday - mostly on vegetables but also bought some body scrub as this is something I didn't get for Christmas.

Next time I need it I will make some myself. I just didn't think of it when in the shop.

Have booked a delivery for Friday, but am going to go back and revise it before tonight as it's coming in at over £67 and doesn't seem to have many planned meals in it!
  • Please log my spend of £44.33 under target and very happy.

Aah! Sin of the GC, I've not counted up what I spent yesterday or kept receipts

I'm going to say I spent £20 yesterday in a combination of Sains and HB

I think next month when I get my money in the one go (this month has a combination of early pay early OT pay etc in it) I'm going to put the shopping money in another purse entirely so I can keep track a bit better
