None of these Dilemmas do surprise me. Where is the Dilemma here? You parked there, your choice, you've done it loads of times, you will always get caught eventually! PAY UP.

I'd ask your driving instructor to pay the fine as clearly they didn't make you fully understand road signs and consequences of ignoring them. Do you speed too?

How on earth can MSE call this a moral dilemma, it is nothing of the sort. It's you're decision to park there not you're mothers, so it's pretty self explanatory who needs to pay the fine... duhhh. Is MSE playing a very premature April fools joke??

Do NOT pay it if it isn't a pukka council parking ticket.
It's no more enforceable than your cat charging you for lap time.

Moral dilemma? No, it isn't.
Had it been a proper parking ticket you were in charge of the vehicle and you are to blame and should pay up.
Even having the temerity to ask here proves that your morals are lacking somewhat.
