As I left the NYE party last night I reminded him of this and he chuckled and said "those were the days". My mum rang today to say that he was so drunk he'd got stuck between their garden step and the wheelie bins for about 15 mins and when she did he fell into the xmas tree and stayed there until this morning as she couldn't move him. The youth of today eh.....he's 72!
That is so funny! Bless him!!!! By the sounds of it though, he had a cracking new year and way better than me!! LOL x2019 goal

I made a list of things I wanted to achieve in 2013 and I need to add another one:
- No more takeaways for the next 3 months!!!
I slipped up tonight and ordered my last takeaway for me and my OH! It's amazing how you justify it 1) It's the last night of our holidays 2) I won't be eating it because I need to give up fat because of my tummy problems 3) I'll be getting stuck into my diet so won't be able to have one for a while!!!
So, I have pledged it! NO MORE TAKEAWAYS until at least April!!! LOL

A little bit late in the day... but would you mind if I joined?
I just paid off the last of my credit card off with money I received over Christmas and this has brought my DFD to December 2015 :j
I'm so determined to tackle the debt this year, as have only really been coasting along since April. I've had a few set backs with my debt going up, but have managed to bring it back down again and my DFD as it stands at the moment is the lowest it has been.
I've been reading through and have been motivated by you all, as I feel I am in a similar position. Bit of background I'm 31, have 2DD's aged 6 and 8 and have just under £20K ()to clear.0 -

Hello my darling welcome to the gang!!!
Not too late to join in at all the more the merrier as far as I am concerned:j
I have actually worked out that I could now be detb free by December 2014 if I pay off the absolute maximum just giving me enough to live on & no more!!!!!!
Sooooooooooo January 2013 payments all made.
23 more monthly payments to go for me!!!
FYI this could change cos you know what life is like has a habit of jumping up & biting you on the a$$ just when you least expect it.
I shall keep you all updated on a monthly basis - even if I am debt free in 2014 I am still gonna stick with this thread to support you all - dont get rid of me that easily :rotfl:
