Hi everyone,
I would like to join you on this challenge! Realistically I am aiming for a DFD of July 2015 (= before I turn 35!) but I would like to push myself in 2015 and try to clear as much as I can, if not all of it, by December 2015!
I've got £4'100 in credit card debts, all at 0% thanks to balance transfers. I have told my close friends about this (I haven't disclosed the amount though) as I didn't want people to think I was avoiding them and was pleasantly surprised to see their positive reactions! :T
I also would like to build up a £1,000 emergency fund and loose weight. 2015 will be a very challenging year but I'm looking forward to it and to supporting each other on MSE!

Hi everyone,
I'd love to join this challenge. I had my LBM yesterday, ha!
I had a debt of £1,800 (student overdraft) when I graduated, and promised myself that it would be my priority to pay it off as soon as I got a job...
1.5 years later and I've only just paid off the first £200
Would really love to have it all paid of by April, but that will be very tough (<£50 a week to live).
I'd really like to go on summer this holiday though, so as soon as that's paid off, I'll be able to start saving
Looking forward to seeing everyone complete this! Good luck!**Debt free since 2018 and saving for first home**0 -
Could I join this please? My current debt is in my signature. My husband also has a credit card at £1400. We blitzed a lot of debt in 2013, but lived a bit last year so consolidated with the loan. We are currently going through the process of buying a house so will soon have a mortgage to add to our debts.
We talked this week and decided to have another go at blitzing our credit cards and get rid of them once and for all. Then we are going to try and save enough to settle the loan early. All this while also overpaying our mortgage. I'm being ambitious I know! But I like to have high targets to aim for. We dream of buying a investment property to fund our retirement, so need to aim high as we are quite old for first time buyers!Co-op loan: £2672.38. £2886.64 / £5559.02
HF's B'card: £2468.00 0% until November '17 _pale_ £255 / £2524.00
HF's FD Loan: £5467.78. £918.72 / £6386.52
Total: £5376.62 / £15814.78 33.99%
