  • 2 days ago all but 2 candles were out of stock, now there are quite a few back in stock:j
  • I placed an order on Sunday and had the confirmation emails but checked my account today and there wasn't any record of my order.I rang customer services and they explained about the system problem over the weekend but assured me that the order had been sent out on Monday so fingers crossed.

    Well had a HUGE box come this morning - my two talking dogs and books (priced at 19.99 but then down to £10 but using the £10 off £20 spend had for a fiver each!) - looks very expensive for £5 each - will put away for next Christmas - thanks ever so much OP.

    One is for niece and other was for neighbour but it looks too expensive I think so will give to someone else.

  • I checked mt account last night and it had said no orders, today though the card came via royal mail and the rest but the yankee tart by yodel.

    Have just rung about my order as nothing is showing on the site. Apparently I should have had an email saying it was all out of stock, and would I like to choose something else. I didn't get one, anyway they are refunding my paypal account asap.

    The freephone number to call (I hope this is ok) is 0800 9020900 if anyone else wants to query their order too. :)

    Yes we do risk not getting our bargains, but TBH, I don't think it is that much of a bargain - there are always loads of offers for Yankee Candles (esp after Christmas) - and I can't see that this is the reason for poor customer service. And taking money before despatch always annoys me....I'm gonna wait till Friday and if nothings shows up, I'll be on the phone to them....but I'll give them a few days. I also didn't open an account so have no way of tracking (although that doesn't sound much cop anyway!) :cool:

  • I just called them as also didnt open an account and they were very helpful. Apparently due to massive orders of Yankees over the weekend, by the time they went to be picked they were out of stock. He said I should have received a cancellation email...I didn't! He apologised for this and said I could either choose something else or have a refund. He helpfully told me what candles they had in stock and said it will be dispatched tomorrow. They are also refunding 61p for the tart as they are all OOS. I think it is poor service to cancel orders without notification and to take money without sending products. Worth phoning though, they seem very nice on the phone :)

  • Just got off the phone too, have found out now that one order went through fine but the other is out of stock! Which I'm annoyed at as they took the money!? The lady was super nice though and said I could either have a refund or choose some thing else so seeing as there's more stock now I choose some that were out of stock that I wanted:) so worked out better for me in the end:)

    This number is for account holders... ie supermarkets/card shops etc.

    The number is 0845 0945094 for customer services.
