    If I'm thinking first serious boyfriend (meet the family/treated as an item) I'd probably be living in a very pretty seaside town in West Wales where I believe he's moved to. I think we'd have had a good life.

    As it was I married someone else, got divorced and met the love of my life.

    Now I live in another part of the country, blissfully happy and I hope my first boyfriend is too.

    I married my first girlfriend 61 years and 5 days ago.

    Just told her that if she continues to behave, perhaps we could make a go of it.
    I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    I'd be a farmer's wife in the same county as I'm living in now. Thinking about it I rather regret the farm part, I don't regret him much though.

  • In the place of the poor cow who did marry him;

    Living in the house next door to his mum and dad, having lived in his childhood bedroom with a double bed, fridge and seventeen computers until just after his 41st birthday. And bringing two more kids into the world (3 in total), not working, dependent upon JSA and housing benefit, with three people carriers in pieces on the driveway, stuff piled up at the windows, filthy, cluttered house stinking of cat pee, anaemic from poorly thought out vegetarianism (cheese sandwiches and chips being the only things he eats), hugely obese, unwashed, hairy legged and unemployable.

    Oh, probably crippled, as he doesn't believe in modern medicine/anything tested upon animals, so I wouldn't have been allowed to take the medications I rely upon to slow disease progression.

    (Plus probably walloped every so often if I dared to think something different to him)

    The last twenty years may not have been brilliant, but they are a vast improvement on what they would have been, had I remained with him for a moment longer than I did.
    I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    First 'boyfriend'? not sure because we were 6.

    I married my first partner and if I'd stayed married - I'd be living in Didcot :eek:
