Much happier as we have been togetehr for over 5 years, however our young age and going through uni/getting careers is getting in the way of any attempt to make a family and marry!

At the risk of sounding smug, I did marry my first boyfriend who I met when we were both fifteen. Thirty two years later we are still very happy together. So it can happen.

What would life be like if we all married our first boyfriend/ girlfriend...

I have no idea - haven't clapped eyes on him, nor heard anything about him, since we split up.
  • I did marry my first partner. Although we split up for several years, dated other people then came back to each other and we married.

I'd be a widow - sadly my first boyfriend died in 1992, at an early age.

We had split up in 1979, and I met my now husband a few months later.

I was sad when I heard about my first boyfriend, as I had always remembered him with fondness, we just weren't right for each other.

I'd be bored. We dated in our midteens and we did bump into each other 18 years later; he was driving the taxi I'd called for. I didn't recognize him at all and certainly couldn't see why I'd ever fancied him.

Mine got his next girlfriend pregnant at 14 . So, I'd probably be broke, with no education and grown up kids and probably also a grandmother at the grand old age of 44 :(
  • My first boyfriend spent the 10 years after we split up in jail for armed robbery .. phew (***wipes brow**)
I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be

I'd be in Austria! Or if we're meaning just boyfriend, rather than partner, I would be widowed as he died from cancer aged 31.
