hmmmm, i did marry him, stayed with him 15 yrs, divorced him after i caught him having his fifth affair,,,, found out about the other four after i found out about the last one!!!!
Had i of stayed with him, i would of been down trodden, mistrusting and extremely poor.
As it is, im poorish, but richer in love0 -
Giving him a years Gym membership for Xmas this year ..
BOY is he now overweight! :beer:0 -
If I had stayed with HIM - urghhhhhhhhhhhhhh - Probably very severly depressed and old before my time with half a dozen kids that he would refuse to financially or emotionaly support, which is what happened to the next poor lady he hooked up with after me. Poor thing is still stuck with him, I believeThe opposite of what you know...is also true0

I would be a horrible person if I'd married my first real bf. I was a spoiled mixed up kid who had no idea of what real life was like. I was only 16, I'd left home with no adult education, i.e. paying bills etc, and didn't have clue. I was so horrible to my ex in as much as I expected him to pay all the bills etc, fund our social life etc and would go off in the huff if he ever said 'no'. He dumped me - I wonder why?
Fast forward 5 years, I met my son's dad who was an unemployed alcoholic wife beater who 'brought me into line'. Nice. Thank god I met my now hubby who I've learned so much from - like adult relationships, real long lasting love and mutual respect. Shame he had to take on all my baggage

Not too much difference to now. First boyfriend has a nice house and own business.0

Absolutely minted, and a lady-who-lunches.
Instead I'm broke, and have Aldi beans on toast. I'm happy, though.

I'd be where I am right now as my wife was my first serious girlfriend.
I did have a few short flings in my teens but they were never longer than a month or two and nothing serious so I don't count them.0 -
I'd have been living the life of Riley, in a flash house in an expensive town, not having to work, going on holiday and generally having the best of everything. I ended up with the complete opposite but hey, at least what humble things I have by comparison I've attained off my own back rather than someone else's, so I can take pride in that.0
