Just sent the email so will see what happens. Just a word of warning to all who think Pace boxes are great, I have allways had the Pace, and it is currently on it's 4th hard drive. Are the replacement boxes the 40GB or 80GB versions?

thanks! I'd been having loads of trouble with video out of sync with the sound. I hope the new box fixes it.

Engineer came today and replaced my Amstrad box with a Thomson one. He said he was a senior engineer and had been sent because I had requested especially - must have been the content of the email that did it. He said if a normal engineer had come out I probably wouldn't have got the new box.

New box is an 80giggler to replace the 40gig one. Great! Now I just have to batter them down on monthly price as well.

Just been directed to this thread by someone else.

My box is a Thomson box and has just died on me, so i have amended the letter and fired it off i will keep you all up dated.
