  • If they're in glass you'll need some exeptionally good packaging. I'd get on the blower to your local APC depot. Click here to find the number. Don't phone the number at the top of the screen, in the 'new customers' box at the side you can find a number for your actual depot, who are the people you need to talk to.

They seem to be the most careful to me, but like I say, you'll still need some tough packaging.

If you book Collect+ today it's £4.99, tomorrow the prices go up. As above, myHermes dropoff point is £5.10 or collection from your address is £5.40.

If you book collect + you might have a problem as your parcel exceeds their size criteria.

Over by 10cm on 2 sides, and under by 10cm on the other. The shop has the discretion to accept or decline an outsized parcel, and I've never been to a shop where they've declined an outsize parcel. Considering the parcel is so little over, the chances of it getting declined are 0. HDNL (the people who deliver the parcel) don't actually care once the shop has accepted it.
  • I've just used Interparcel for the first time for an ebay delivery & I thought the process was very smooth & worked out cheaper than Parcel Force who I usually use. I used Interparcel's own economy service which uses UPS as the courier.

Placed the order Monday afternoon, collected Tuesday afternoon & delivered Wednesday morning which I thought was very quick.

One negative would be I had to wait in till 4pm on Tuesday for the collection but other than that I would recommend.
  • I have found parcelbiz.co.uk to be very reasonable for parcels up to 30kg and under 1 metre.

They're absurdly expensive. Check out other option from the couriers sticky thread, there are some serious savings to be made over those prices.
