Hello everyone. Just popped on to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a good Xmas. Mine was nice but I would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't caught a bad cold
. I've finally caught up on all the posts and I have potted nearly everyday except for four NSD's over Xmas :T. I also made £20 by making a Xmas cake for a friend so that's going in the pot(s). I have three atm. My terramundi for £1's, £2's and 50p's, a little Russian doll money box for 20ps and a glass sweetie jar for the rest.
I have also decided that I'm going to save my total from SPC5 and put it towards a holiday to go to either America or Australia.
Happy potting for 2013!

Morning all, was glued to lappie all day yesterday, due to Psychology assignment due date drawing ever closer... Managed a NSD but found 40p in shrapnel so have put it into the pot and updated siggy. Hoping you all have a lovely new year, DD1 14 is off out round the town here as St Ives is mad on New Years, everyone in fancy dress, she is going as a leopard along with 2 of her friends and I have bent and allowed them to be home by half past midnight... very unheard of for me due to apron strings being very tight, however I must let her see the new year in with her friends so will be ringing her on the hour every hour to make sure they are ok lol!!! and they have a taxi booked (double time) so no worries about getting home. May venture out with DD2 11 as it's very traditional to go out and see the many different fancy dress costumes, last year we saw a group of umpa lumpa's and willy wonka, they all looked great, however if it is raining hard as of late, there will probably be celebrations here instead. Happy potting all:beer:Thriftkitten

This is too true to be funny.
The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual
manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR
tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising
agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in
one of its releases.
A.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
D.
A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E.
A billion Pounds ago was only 13 hours and 12 minutes, at the rate our
government is spending it.
TAXES
Stamp Duty

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was one of
the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt.
We had the largest middle class in the world. Mum stayed home to raise
the kids, Dad was allowed to discipline kids
A criminals life was uncomfortable.
What the hell happened?
'Political Correctness', Politicians or both?'
I hope this goes around the UK and beyond
