Thanks Sue, we're not actually in our house yet... It turns out things take much longer when you're only doing evenings and weekends!

I've had a stinking cold over Christmas which has saved me loads of money! And I've sent the last 4 days chained to the sewing machine making my costume for tonight, just a little more to do! Wish the rain would stop though!

Only potted £2 found in OHs wallet as I haven't been in a shop since Christmas Eve!

Welcome to all the new potters!

  • Morning all,

Love the pig Nikki, Fab colour. Thats going to hold loads :j.

I sooooo nearly had to cut my tin open yesterday . DD's front tooth unexpectedly fell out and I needed £1. Of course now I have a sealed tin as soon as I have ANY change £1's included, I dump them in the tin. Which is great but not when you urgently need some change.
Anyway in the end I had to ruin my NSD and get some coal because the boiler has broken down and I got some change that way.

Good that I did'nt have to open my tin, but not so great that the boilers broken. Oh well. Silver Linings.

Got nothing to add today unfortunately, but should have tomorrow as we are down the village pub for a couple of drinks tonight and always have a pocket of change after that.

Have a happy New Year everyone
  • £4.87 added over the weekend - the last of this years budget.
