Woah! Sky messed up our house move so we've had no Internet for weeks and now I've got 40+ pages to catch up on! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!
OH has officially joined the challenge this year after being so impressed at how much I saved last year. Only thing is a lot of my change came from him anyway, but now I will have to share it with him too!
We have quite a few pennies in the bottle already but might have to open it to put towards the final payment on my car in March, this house renovation business is expensive!

hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas. I had a bitter sweet one, one of my cats has a heart problem and he has been in the vets being treated for heart failure. He is home now and in a cage in a bedroom because he has to be kept quiet to let his heart muscle to recover as much as possible. The vet said if he was a human he would be on the transplant list
Prayers needed guys!
Any way I've potted a few coins over the last few days which is good. Love reading all the posts on here.
xx
Your poor cat! I really hope he gets better soon. Ours was run over just over a week ago but luckily escaped with fractures, cuts and a few missing teeth. Had the stitches out today but he has to stay in the crate for six weeks and he's not happy about it. I'm sending your cat lots of positive and calming thoughts

Thank you to everyone for the very warm welcomes to your lovely thread, and thank you Sue for taking the time to give us newbies a number for the challenge.
I am very excited about getting started properly next week once we are home from Xmas no.2 at the (future) in laws. I have some money put aside in my lovely new purse (Xmas present from future hubby) ready to go into my new pot, although am hoping to have a few NSDs while we are here so won't be obtaining as much change!
I'm finding it a little hard to read through the thread as I am using my new tablet which may take me a little while to get used to, so apologies for not replying to individual comments, but I am really looking forward to getting to know you all on here!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0 -
I actually have 2 pots this year.
One of them being the Celebrations tub with a slot in the lid to put anything except 5p's in.
The other, my friend had a 3Litre bottle of Jack Daniels bought for his birthday and I asked if I could take it when he'd finished drinking it. I can only get 1p's and 5p's in there, so have decided to keep topping that up with 5p's until it's full and see how much it will take. Have some in there already, but haven't actually counted it yet.
So, looks like I'll start 2013 with some already in the pots.Sealed Pot Challenge No 3060 -
