A few pennies in the pot for me yesterday, after doing the food shopping:)
    November NSD's - 7
  • All change being snapped up by kids for Christmas card games, so very little potting going on. But when I win at Christmas I'll be potting all my winnings!! Ha, clever plan....!

Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves
  • Just over £11 in the pot (including 3 x £2). For some reason I'm getting more of a thrill saving all coins together than I did keeping £2 separately - I suppose you don't have to wait for them to come along! No coins are safe - I'm trying to get as many as possible into those pots!

    Happy potting :)

    Hi sue

My 2nd job is part time bar work and irregular ... I sometimes work sat night, but not every Saturday as owner rotates staff?? Is that okay?

    I have 4 different pots going!!! :-)

Hi Determined diva, that is perfectly ok, though there's no need for the breakdown. :) Thanks for your cooperation.

You're welcome, redmel, just so pleased it makes it a lot easier for you.

oooooops! Forgot for a mo about your back, little_sweetie! :o

I was telling hubby about the sealed pot challenge, he never said much last night when I was enthusing about it. Tonight after work he said did I want the £2 that he was going to spend on my Christmas card for my tin. Of course I did and offered the same back so that is £4 for the tin. The tin (pot) is now becoming a wooden box as hubby is a joiner. He said he will make one that needs sawing up to get at the dosh. I think it is now OUR tin/box/pot and he seems very keen.

All that makes marvellous reading, Missmarple, well done your hubby!!!!! :j

    Whhhooooopppeeeeee, Savingforsomeday!!! Great news!

A splendid idea, Betsie!! Go you! :D
